Sunday, May 23, 2010. The theme for this year’s fiesta is “Celebrating Our Diversity”.

To highlight the event we will have a Cultural Parade

that involves lots of participants including you. If interested,

Violence and Teen Dating Statistics show that one in three

teenagers has experienced violence in a dating relationship. In dating

violence, one partner tries to maintain power and control over the other

Violencia y Noviazgo entre Adolescentes

Algunas estadísticas actuales aciertan que uno de cada tres adolescentes experimenta violencia cuando salen

con otra persona adolescente. En ese tipo de violencia, uno de los compañeros ejerce control y poder encima de la otra persona por medio de alguna clase de

abuso. Esta violencia se encuentra igual en todas áreas económicas, raciales y sociales, y la mayoría de las víctimas

son jovencitas quienes están en mayor riesgo de seria agresión. Hay pautas que pueden indicarle si su hijo/a está involucrado en una relación abusiva, y para esta información puede visitar:
