GLOSS MEDIUM (AM571) 200mlA painting and glazing acrylic medium resulting in a durable gloss finish. Transparent and waterproof when dry, Holbein Acryla Gloss Medium should not be used as a final varnish.

MATTE MEDIUM (AM572) 200mlMix with acrylic colors to achieve varying degrees of matte finish. Transparent and waterproof when dry, Holbein Acryla Matte Medium should not be used as a final varnish.

Aeroflash contains high density pigments ground to fine-grain size (0.001 to 0.004mm) in an acrylic resin manufactured to the uniform viscosity most suitable for airbrush use. The result is a deep clear color of non-toxic archival permanence that will not clog even a 0.1mm aperture. Aeroflash utilizes a pure water soluble acryl which ensures no shift in color tone from liquid to dried color. What you see “wet” is what you get when “dry”. Drying time is comparable to traditional oil straight out of the tube (no water/mediums).

Water will matte down the surface when mixed with DUO, like turpentine does to oil.

Quick Dry Medium or Painting Oil is ideal for glazing.

Traditional oil painting techniques apply for DUO (fat over lean).

Traditional oil mediums may be used, but mixture will lose water solubility.

Water aids when mixing DUO with other water based media (watercolor, gouache, acrylic), to ensure a durable finish.

Use traditional oil varnish when sealing your DUO painting.

A stiff synthetic brush is best when painting with DUO.

lative hues and high chroma. Since

the density and the handling charac-

teristics are well balanced, mixing

two of these colors equally will

W468 Sizing Liquid Artist grade sizing liquid used to reduce the absorbency of paper. Dilute with warm water and apply with a broad brush. Available in a 55ml jar.

W461 Gum Arabic Medium An Artist grade medium which will, when mixed with watercolors, enhance gloss and transparency. Mixing with opaque colors, like gouache and posters colors, will also increase their transparency. Available in a 55ml jar.

W464 Iridescent Medium An Artist grade medium designed to facilitate iridescent (pearlescent) effects when used with water based media including: watercolor, acrylic, gouache and acryla gouache. Available in a 55ml jar.
