GET A PERFECT FITFinite Element Analysis (FEA), combined with computer-aided motion analysis software, allows our design team to eliminate structural “hot spots” where structural strength is critical to the long-term integrity of the product. These tools, used by all the major excavator manufacturers, allow us to design, build, assemble, simulate and test our Titan 22/Titan 23 structures prior to any manufacturing taking place.

In the example illustrated, electronic “loading” simulates ‘log feeding’. Notice all high load concentrations (indicated by the color red, orange, and yellow) have been eliminated during the design process, allowing us to provide structures and fabrications that will flourish while operating in the rigors of North American timber and climate conditions.

A proprietary hinged pedestal platform makes servicing the Pierce TITAN 22 Processor’s hydraulic and electrical systems faster and easier. An additional valve section provides more flow to the drive system for greater speed and feed power, as well as to the butt saw for faster, cleaner cuts.

A swing-away top saw location provides greater structural strength and easy access to saw components. The heavy-duty frame has been designed to reduce and distribute stress loads, while providing extra support for the rigors of North American timber and conditions. And the TITAN 22’s heavy-duty hanging bracket features single-piece construction for greater durability.

Even the Pierce INTELLITEC Measuring system has been enhanced to provide unprecedented performance,

Designed for North American forestry conditions, the Pierce TITAN 23 Processor has been tried and tested in the toughest hardwood applications. The head is engineered to absorb crooks and irregularities, while allowing for efficient stem handling. The delimbing system’s third arm allows the TITAN 23 to feed and delimb easily in forward and reverse. Plus, you can choose from the large 836cc standard drive motors, or the heavy-duty 1048cc oversized motors.

The TITAN 23 comes with a self-cleaning measuring wheel, featuring a tapered wheel center to reduce clogging from bark and other debris. Arms are soft-clamped, available to add appropriate settings for varying species.

Though uniquely designed to shine on 25-29 metric ton machines, the TITAN 23 can be installed on a wide range of carriers, making it ideal for delimbing and bucking in the forest or roadside.

A proprietary hinged pedestal platform makes servicing the Pierce TITAN 22 Processor’s hydraulic and electrical systems faster and easier. An additional valve section provides more flow to the drive system for greater speed and feed power, as well as to the butt saw for faster, cleaner cuts.

A swing-away top saw location provides greater structural strength and easy access to saw components. TITAN 22Advancements that are a cut above.

Designed for North American forestry conditions, the Pierce TITAN 23 Processor has been tried and tested in the toughest hardwood applications. The head is engineered to absorb crooks and irregularities, while allowing for efficient stem handling. The delimbing system’s third arm allows the TITAN 23 to feed and delimb easily in forward and reverse. Plus, you can choose from the large 836cc standard drive motors, or the heavy-duty 1048cc oversized motors.

The TITAN 23 comes with a self-cleaning measuring wheel, featuring a tapered wheel center to reduce clogging from bark and other debris. Arms are soft-clamped, available to add appropriate settings for varying species.

Though uniquely designed to shine on 25-29 metric ton machines, the TITAN 23 can be installed on a wide range of carriers, making it ideal for delimbing and bucking in the forest or roadside.
