Pastor’s Reflection….Worship Time Change, COVID-19 Taskforce &

As we move into our summer schedule, please take notice that our worship schedule will change to 10:00am on Sunday morning, starting Sunday, June 7th. Worship will continue to be shared on Facebook Live, YouTube and we will continue to have a Zoom gathering on Sunday morning at 10:00am. The time of worship and what platform we use may change on a Sunday here and there, to

allow Pastor Shawn to take vacation, but any and all changes will be clearly stated on the website, email, and through a Facebook post.

Please take a few minutes to read the letter written by the COVID-19 Task Force. The recommendations come from a gifted group of people and are not made lightly. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach me via email or by phone.

Finally, the church was approved for a Paycheck Protection Program loan as of May 22nd, 2020. This loan will be used to help with payroll, utility costs, and other qualifying expenses. I want to thank Joe Rickrode, Dean Garrett and Bambi Barnhart Golden (our Church Treasurer) for securing the loan and taking care of the proper paperwork. I would also like to thank Steve Sherman of People’s Bank who is also a dedicated member of our church for allowing us to apply and working through the needed pa-perwork in a timely fashion.

God is good….all the time. Blessings to you and your families as we continue to be the church, even in these unprecedented times.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Shawn

St. John’s would like to express our deepest sympathy to Nancy Brown

and family upon the passing of Nancy’s husband, Phil last Saturday.
