Hamilton Island, Australia’s premier island resort destination, wishes you a very happy 2014 festive season.

To ensure we meet your expectations this Christmas and New Year’s Eve, following is a brief explanation of the

special events available to you to choose from. Each restaurant has put together an amazing menu of the freshest,

gourmet selections available on Hamilton Island.

THE YACHT CLUB CHRISTMAS LUNCH AND DINNER The Hamilton Island Yacht Club is located at the entrance to the marina and offers breathtaking views over the marina and Dent Passage. The Hamilton Island Yacht Club is an iconic venue and testimony to the level of quality and direction the island is becoming known for. Dining at the Yacht Club’s restaurant is a unique experience with a team of superb chefs, friendly professional service and a menu consisting of high quality fresh ingredients. The three-course Christmas lunch and dinner menus offer a fusion of traditional and contemporary Christmas fare.

THE YACHT CLUB NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER

You will be greeted with a welcome glass of French Champagne and then make your way on to the Yacht Club deck to enjoy superb canapés and the last sunset of the year. Canapés will be followed by a delightful 7-course degustation menu and a display of spectacular fireworks at midnight on the Yacht Club deck, making your New Year’s Eve a very special and sophisticated occasion.

Cost: $190 per adult (welcome glass of French Champagne and food only)*

MARINERS CHRISTMAS LUNCH

Where better to spend Christmas Lunch in the Whitsunday’s than overlooking the marina on the deck at Mariners, in the heart of Hamilton Island’s marina village. Enjoy a fabulous set menu featuring oysters, scallops, a traditional turkey plate and delicious Christmas pudding. Cost: $135 per adult (food only)

MARINERS NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER Mariners are known for their fantastic service and beautiful seafood, so join us to sit back and welcome the New Year in relaxed style. Tonight’s menu will offer a hot and cold seafood platter followed by dessert. Cost: $165 per adult $90 per child 4 – 7yrs $90 per child 8 – 14yrs Time: Mariners will offer two service seatings on this evening. The first will be from 5.30pm until 8.30pm and the second

from 9pm until late. Please arrive on time to enjoy the full Mariners New Year’s Eve experience.

Pool Terrace is overlooking the tropical landscaped pool at the Reef View Hotel. Pool Terrace will delight with a festive buffet of the very best of traditional dishes including seafood, roast meats and delecious desserts.

Take advantage of this dining opportunity at Romano’s where Christmas can be celebrated with a beautiful waterfront feast. Enjoy brilliant festive cuisine and some of Romano’s classic Italian dishes for this special day with friends and family. Cost: $135 per adult

Try the island’s newest restaurant, Manta Ray, which puts a tropical spin

on nautical styling with its glossy mint tiles and light breezy colour palette

plus Mediterranean inspired menu.

COCA CHU

coca chu brings adventurous, fun and seductive fare to the Whitsundays,

the menu is based upon the hawker food stalls of South East Asia, mixing

bold flavours with elegant casual style.

MARINA TAVERN

Casual pub style dining, the Marina Tavern is perfect for a counter meal

and drink over the marina. Please note that no beverages will be served

unless with a meal due to liqueur licensing restrictions.

Operating hours are 11am until late. No booking required.

MARINERS

Where better to sample the famous seafood of the Whitsundays than

overlooking the marina on the deck at Mariners, in the heart of Hamilton

Island’s Marina Village. A seafood lovers dream; fresh fish fillets, local

NEW YEAR’S EVE DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT

MARINA VILLAGE CELEBRATIONS – MARINA TAVERN Marina Village, the island’s hub of shops and restaurants will stage the biggest outdoor party with bar stalls, fireworks and live entertainment. The popular Marina Tavern will incorporate an open-air entertainment area where you can dance the night away with a band playing live music. A great fireworks extravaganza takes you into 2015. Please note the area in front of Marina Tavern becomes and adults only area after 9pm due to licensing restrictions.

MANTA RAY Enjoy the Mediterranean inspired menu while you overlook Hamilton Island’s Marina - Manta Ray’s friendly and efficient staff will make sure your evening is special! No booking required unless over 10+.

COCA CHU Based on the hawker style street food of South East Asia the fare at coca chu is bound to delight. Add some of the best views over Catseye Beach and you have yourself a fantastic night. Operating hours are from 5.30pm. Bookings essential.

CAPTAINS CLUB Enjoy the views of Hamilton Island Marina sitting on the balcony sipping cocktails waiting for the fireworks to explode at midnight.

POOL TERRACE Overlooking the tropical landscaped Reef View swimming pool, serving a scrumptious modern Australian buffet. Pool Terrace is a perfect place to come with the family offering a casual and family friendly atmosphere along with Pool Terrace’s friendly and efficient staff ensuring your evening is relaxed and special. Operating hours for dinner are 5.30pm until late. Bookings essential.

ROMANO’S Perched over the Hamilton Island Marina with an authentic menu highlighting fresh seafood prepared with Italian flair, Romano’s is the venue for celebratory holiday dining. Romano’s professional staff are welcoming and attentive, and atmospheric candlelight sets the scene for an amazing dinner overlooking the water. Operating hours are 6pm until late. Bookings essential. Please note that payment is taken in full at the time of booking. Outside seating allocations are not confirmed and will be dealt with on the day depending on weather conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that any cancellations must be advised more than 7 days in advance of dining date to be eligible for a full refund of prepayment. Within the 7-day period a cancellation fee of 50% of total charge will be applied. No refund will be applicable if the party does not show up at the restaurant for their reservation.
