Some food stalls on the street make the area very dirty, e.g. Yiu Tung Street.

Most people with low income live there• So, lack of comprehensive planning is one of the major reasons causing urban decay.

To conclude, there are many problems in inner city affecting the living condition of people. We agree that solutions must be carried out to improve the living condition of the people living there.

Policy such as urban renewal has been carried out by Hong Kong Housing Society , Urban Renewal Authority and Hong Kong Housing Authority.

Solutions Solutions • Urban renewal • Repair old buildings and provide more open space.• Build a buffer green park between industrial and residential areas .• Encourage people to take public transport in order to reduce air and noise pollution coming from private cars .
