What’s more ?• Mixed land use usually happens in inner city. This causes land use conflict.• Population density is high in inner city

Most people with low income live there• So, lack of comprehensive planning is one of the major reasons causing urban decay.

To conclude, there are many problems in inner city affecting the living condition of people. We agree that solutions must be carried out to improve the living condition of the people living there.

Policy such as urban renewal has been carried out by Hong Kong Housing Society , Urban Renewal Authority and Hong Kong Housing Authority.
