MR B SHARP

At LAC our current “Value of the Week” is ‘HONESTY’. A text that springs to mind is:

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” Luke 16:10

Being open, being truthful, telling the full story and not being silent when something really needs to said are all traits of an honest person. As Luke points out, honesty leads to trust and we all know trust is what builds solid relationships.

Learning the full meaning of ‘honesty’ helps develop our character and it is one of the most important lessons we can learn here at Longburn.

I wish all our boarders and extended community God’s protection and a restful break over the holidays.

WHAT DO I LIKE ABOUT LAC?I love being able to make decisions about my life & meeting people from all around the Islands, Australia & NZ.

MY FAVOURITE THING TO DO IN THE DORMS IS:slumber & dance parties with all my friends.I love to bring all our mattresses to the front of the chapel, jumping round & watching movies.

MY FAVOURITE FOOD IN THE WHOLE WORLD IS:Mangoes & Watermelon

THE BIGGEST THING I WILL MISS IN THE DORMS WHEN I LEAVE WILL BE:Putting the Juniors to bed and having the opportunity to speak up the front of churches. I love being able to share God’s love with people & watching their lives change.

GOD & JESUS:He means everything to me, without him I would be nowhere...

I want to thank my awesome parents for sending me back to LACformyfinalyear, eventhoughIdidn’twantto.Sendingme back to LAC helped me decide to go to College - Avondale!!
