About Crispin HillThe principals of Crispin Hill are Heather Tompkins and Chelsey Madia. Heather is our Executive Chef and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Chelsey is our Bridal Coordinator and a graduate of NAU, with a Business Degree and an emphasis on Hotel and Restaurant Management. Heather and Chelsey’s dream was to build and operate a premiere Event Center in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Country. In 2015, they found the property of their dreams and completed the purchase of the Crispin Hill Farm. The Crispin Hill nine-acre venue is private and somewhat secluded but is easy to reach via Route 54A, just three miles outside the quaint village of Penn Yan. Crispin Hill’s wedding event venue is nestled on a hillside and offers a picturesque view of Keuka Lake, the gem of the Finger Lakes. Several hotels are located near Crispin Hill for the convenience of your guests.

Two wonderful structures make Crispin Hill uniquely desirable for those who seek a memorable wedding event. The Crispin Hill Farm House was originally built over a century ago, but recently has been completely remodeled and updated with loving attention to detail. It features a modern chef’s kitchen and several decks that overlook pristine Keuka Lake, providing a nearly 180-degree view. The Farm House can sleep up to 14 persons and is available for smaller, more intimate events such as bridal showers, rehearsal parties or private parties up to 40 guests. The master suite offers a gorgeous view of the lake, a large deck, and a marble bathroom with both a claw foot tub and a shower. This suite makes an outstanding bridal suite with a beautiful backdrop for photos.

At the heart of our event center is Crispin Barn. The huge Barn, along with the companion tent within a few steps of the barn doors, can accommodate up to 170 guests comfortably. The view from both within and without the Barn is spectacular. An illuminated path winds from the Barn to a ceremony site where vows can be exchanged while overlooking beautiful Keuka Lake.

For Saturday weddings only, The Crispin Hill Farm House, which can sleep up to 14,

Services & PoliciesSite Fee:

Non-refundable $3,000 deposit to confirm and reserve wedding date; no reservations will be made without a deposit

Balance of non-refundable site fee, $1,900 or $2,900, must be paid by January 15, 2018 All site fees must be paid by cashier’s check, money order or Visa/MasterCard ** Security Deposit of $500 is required, with a valid credit card on file 30 days before event.

Food & Beverage Fees: 25% of total Silver, Gold or Platinum Choice due no later than February 15, 2018 Additional 50% of total amount is due no later than 30 days prior to wedding event Remaining 25% is due no later than 10 days prior to wedding event All food/beverage must be paid by cashier’s check, money order or Visa/MasterCard **

IMPORTANT POLICIES: ** Deposits and payments may be made by Visa/MasterCard, but all such card payments will incur an

additional 2.75% service charge. A valid credit card, for incidentals, must be on file 30 days prior to event. Cancellation Policy: All site fee and food/beverage payments are non-refundable. Paper Lanterns, sparklers & fireworks of any kind are not allowed on Crispin Hill property Crispin Hill must be used as food caterer; no exceptions. See catering contract. Crispin Hill must purchase and serve all alcoholic beverages; no exceptions. Music must end by 10:00 pm. After your event is booked, you are welcome to have another scheduled site visit to follow up and have

any questions answered, and we will also make ourselves available for two half-hour scheduled phone calls. Our objective is to be very prepared for you and responsive in your early planning so that your overall event planning is efficient.

Potential Additional Expenses * Food tasting at $125.00 must be completed by February 1, 2018. For tasting, you may choose either 2

appetizers and 3 entrées or 4 appetizers and 2 entrées. * Wedding insurance is required; we recommend Travelers Insurance. * For over 100 guests, Porto Johns are required; we recommend Crescent Moon. Remember, when paying with a credit card, there is an additional 2.75% service fee.

REMINDERS & OTHER TERMS OF USE: All alcoholic beverage MUST be purchased from and served by Crispin Hill

Last call for alcohol must be 15 minutes prior to the end of your event

Music may be played only in the barn, at a reasonable sound level

Music MUST end by 10:00pm

One hour ceremony at Crispin Hill is included in your site fee

Additional event space hours will be charged at $500 per hour

Crispin Hill accommodates large parties by utilizing both Crispin Barn and the beautiful tent just steps away

Events may take place within the hours of noon to 10:00pm

Event decorations must be approved by Crispin Hill representatives

Indoor modern restrooms are available to service up to 100 guests; a larger party requires that rental restrooms be brought in for event

All Crispin Hill clients are required to purchase wedding insurance with liquor liability and proof of such insurance must be provided to Crispin Hill 30 days prior to the event date; naming Crispin Hill as additional insured.

The bridal party enjoys the use of the Farm House prior to the ceremony and reception. This use is limited to a photographer, videographer and/or event coordinator and ONLY up to 14 other guests at any given time. Any number of guests greater than 14 guests in our home will be asked to depart.

Contact information and a timeline must be given to Crispin Hill 30 days prior to an event for any vendors contracted by our clients.

Crispin Hill has designated parking area that can accommodate up to 50 cars; drop offs for vans and buses can also be accommodated.

Your event timeline, final guest counts and seating Chart must be submitted to Crispin Hill 30 days prior to your event date.

This rental agreement applies to the main-floor barn event space located at 2732 Wager Hill Road, Penn Yan NY 14527 and is effective and binding upon Crispin Hill only when each of the following three requirements have been met: (1) Crispin Hill must acknowledge any reserved date in writing; (2) renter must have paid a non-

refundable $3,000 site fee deposit; and (3) renter must have paid the balance of the non-refundable site fee deposit, either $1,900 for a Friday event or $2,900 for a

Saturday event in good funds prior to January 15, 2018.

This Rental Agreement allows access to the Crispin Hill Barn space and adjacent tent for an event of five-hour duration. Crispin Hill will allow a reasonable amount of time for Renter to set up prior to event and break down after. Renter is responsible for leaving the event space in the same condition it was prior to event set-up. All Renter equipment and decorations that is brought in must be removed immediately after the event. Renter will be charged $200 if all Renter equipment and decorations are not removed immediately after the event. Any and all Renter items left on the premise will be considered abandoned. Renter is also financially responsible for any damages to Crispin Hill equipment or facilities during rental period; a $500 security deposit is required 30 days prior to the event. At Crispin Hill discretion, the security deposit will be returned within 10 business days after the event if there is no damage or loss related to Crispin Hill equipment or facilities. If alcohol is brought in by renter or renter’s guests and is found on the premise, including the barn, parking lot or anywhere on the grounds of Crispin Hill, the entire security deposit will be forfeit and Crispin Hill Staff will dispose of the alcohol.
