வணக்கம்!

உலகத் திருமண தினமான இன்று, தம்பதியர் அனனவருக்கும் தமிழ்

கத்ததாலிக்க செயற்குழு ொர்பாக இனிய நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள்!

கடந்த மூன்று ஆண்டுகளாக நமது ெங்கத்னத மிக திறம்பட வழி நடத்தி, அடுத்த

நினலக்கு எடுத்து செல்ல அயராது உனைத்த முன்னாள் தனலவர் Mr Agnel

Bestus அவர்களுக்கும், இவருடன் தெர்ந்து நிதி செயலாரக திறம்பட பணி

செய்த Mr Anton Fernando அவர்களுக்கும். எங்கனள எப்சபாழுதும் இனற

வழியில் அருனமயாக நடத்திச்செல்லும் Fr.Albin, Fr Theesmas, Fr Berchmans,

Fr James, Fr Rohan அவர்களுக்கும் மிக்க நன்றி.

இந்த வருடத்தின் புதிய செயற்குழு உறுப்பினர்களாக சபாறுப்தபற்கும்

Arockiaraj Samynathan, Hema Rajappan, Pravin Jerome இவர்கனள

வரதவற்கிதறன். நமது ெங்கத்தின் பல நடவடிக்னககளில் சபறும் பலமாக

இருக்கும் இந்த ஆண்டின் செயற்குழு உறுப்பினர்கள்அனனவருக்கும்

உங்களின் ொர்பாக வாழ்த்துக்கள்.

இந்த ஆண்டு நமது அன்பியங்களின் செயல்பாடுகனள ஊக்குவிக்கும்

முயற்ச்சியாக திருப்பலி, அதன் சதாடர்பான நிகழ்ச்சிகளின் சபாறுப்னப

ஒவ்சவாரு அன்பியமும் ஏற்று வழி நடத்தும்.

World Marriage Day By: Siona Anto

Every year, on the second Sunday of February, all couples come

together to celebrate World Marriage Day. This event began in 1983 by the Worldwide Marriage Encounter and is celebrated every second Sunday of February in dioceses all across the country. The purpose of this day is to honor the beauty of a husband and wife’s faithfulness and joy in daily married life. On this day, we honor the husband and wife as the foundation of the family, the basic unit of society. The mission of this day is “to proclaim the value of Marriage and Holy Orders in the Church and in the world.” Both husband and wife are symbolically seen as two candle-like figures, reminding us that this love encourages us to help the community and our world. The couple is united by a heart, focusing on love as the power that fosters unity within the couple. Every year, we as a TCA community come together to celebrate all the couples within our Church. The priests bless all couples at the end of mass and after the mass concludes, everyone partakes in various activities to celebrate their marriages.

2019 TCA Christmas Celebration

TCA celebrated its 2019 Christmas celebration on Dec 15th. The grand celebration started with Holy Mass celebrated by 11 priests. Rev. Fr. Bala Rethinam presided the Holy mass and Rev. Fr. Joyclin delivered a thoughtful homily. Members generously offered school supplies during the offertory, which will be sent to needy children. The Youth choir sang Christmas carols towards the end of the mass, followed by the Children’s choir’s beautiful Tamil Christmas song. After a brief snack break, the Grand General Body meeting started with the Tamil Anthem. The new executive committee was introduced by President Agnel Bestus. Rev. Fr. Bala, a longtime supporter of TCA, is leaving to India for good so, TCA and fellow priests congratulated and wished him. Also, TCA’s spiritual counselor, Fr. Albin Roby, was given “TCA’s Lifetime Achievement Award” for his immeasurable support and help for TCA. For the very first time in TCA’s history, TCA registered with the U.S government for the “Presidential Award” for the Youth volunteers who volunteered in many TCA events. The youths were granted Gold, Silver and Bronze Presidential Awards. Mrs. Shoba Devadasan conducted the stage programs. The event was filled with many cultural programs performed by kids, youth and adults. Santa Claus arrived with lots of gifts for all kids, bringing immense joy to the kids towards the end of the event. The event concluded with a delicious South Indian Grand dinner.

TCA PA Anbiam Group Gathering By: Katherine Juannah Leo & Jehoash Melwyn Leo

The PA Anbiam group met on the first Saturday of February which is a day dedicated

to Mother Mary. We all at met our house to pray the Rosary with readings from the bible. Before beginning the prayer there was a little get together to

give different parts to the team who participated. The prayer was a huge spiritual event. We prayed all 5 decades of the joyful mysteries. The first decade was given to the children and they did an extraordinary job of praying in Tamil and English. After the first decade, the following decades were given to a member of each family. In between each decade there was a bible reading and thoughtful intention. Special thanks to Valankani Uncle who brought up a very thoughtful and important message from the bible. We also sang melodious Matha Songs. Special thanks to Joseph uncle for the wonderful music. Once the Rosary was completed there was dinner. Each family brought a very delicious dish. Everyone had an enjoyable time and it was a very joyous and spiritual occasion. We hope to continue

the Anbiam meet in future months. We appreciate and thankful to all the family members who made it to the event.
