The Hotel represents that the Hotel facilities being rented or reserved by you including guest rooms,

common areas and transportation services are, and will be, in substantial compliance with applicable

public accommodation obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. You agree that one week in

advance of your event, you will furnish to us a list of any auxiliary aids needed by your attendees in

meeting or function space. You agree that you will be responsible for the procurement and payment of

all charges for any and all auxiliary aids. We will, upon your request, furnish you with the names of

businesses you can contact to obtain these aids. You also agree to be responsible for compliance with

the ADA in the set up and conduct of meetings for your event.

CASH PAID OUTS

We are happy to refer our guests to an ATM or local bank. The front desk does not have the available

cash to facilitate cash paid-outs.

CASH PAYING GUESTS

In the event a hotel guest does not have a major credit card to secure his/her room, the Embassy Suites

Richmond will require full payment in advance for room and tax charges. In addition, there will be a

$20.00 per day refundable deposit for incidental charges. If the guest does not wish to establish credit

for incidental charges, the guest room phone will be restricted to room-to-room calls. All room folio

charges from the Food and Beverage outlets and movie charges will also be restricted.

CHECK CASHING PRIVILEGES

Hotel guests may cash checks at the Front Desk. The check must be imprinted with the guest’s name and

address and made out to The Embassy Suites Hotel Richmond. Valid Driver’s License required, $50 per

day per guest maximum.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Hotel check-in is 3 p.m., and checkout is 12 p.m. (All guests arriving before 3 p.m. will be accommodated

as rooms become available. Our Guest Service Department can arrange to check luggage for those

guests arriving early when rooms are not available and for guests attending functions on departure day.)

Early Departure

Your guests will have the opportunity to confirm their departure date at check-in. Once this departure

date has been confirmed, rates are subject to change due to length of stay restrictions.

Late Departure

Late checkouts are available upon request and subject to availability. Please contact the Front Desk

directly to discuss availability and associated fees.

Zip Checkout

With zip checkout, your room folio is provided at your door early in the morning of your departure.

Simply verify the charges, use the television remote or dial zero (hotel operator) to check-out. Please

leave your keys in the room. If you are not departing the hotel immediately, luggage storage can be

arranged at the bellman’s desk.

From Richmond International Airport, or points East of Richmond:

Take Interstate 64 West to I-95 North. I-64 West will merge with I-95 as you travel through Richmond.

Take exit 79 to stay on I-64 West. Travel I-64 West for about 3 miles and take exit 183C (Route 250 West

/ Glenside Drive). Turn left at the second stop light onto Emerywood parkway and turn left into the

hotel.

From points North of Richmond:

Travel on I-95 South towards Richmond and take exit 79 onto I-64 West. Travel I-64 West for about 3

miles and take exit 183C (Route 250 West / Glenside Drive). Turn left at the second stop light onto

Emerywood Parkway and turn left into the hotel.

From points South of Richmond:

Travel on I-95 North towards Richmond and take exit 79 onto I-64 West. Travel I-64 West for about 3

miles and take exit 183C (Route 250 West / Glenside Drive). Turn left at the second stop light onto

Emerywood Parkway and turn left into the hotel.

From points West of Richmond:

Travel on I-64 East towards Richmond. Take exit 183 (Route 250 West / Glenside Drive). Turn left at the

DRY-CLEANING/ VALET LAUNDRY

Laundry services are available Monday through Friday. Garments brought to the Front Desk prior to 8:30

a.m. are returned to guests by 6 p.m. the same evening. Garments brought to the Front Desk after

8:30a.m. will be returned the following day by 6 p.m.

Please note that there is no service on Saturday or Sunday or the following Holidays: Memorial Day, July

4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

The Embassy Suites Hotel is fully prepared to handle different types of situations to assist our guests.

The following is information on our emergency procedures:

The hotel internal emergency number is ‘0’ for the Front Desk.

The hotel has an emergency response team 24 hours a day. In the event of an emergency,

calling the emergency number ‘0’ will initiate the appropriate response.

Paramedics, Fire Department, and the Police Department are all located approximately 5

minutes from the hotel.

Our Security Team, as well as a small number of employees, is trained in CRP and First Aid.

Emergency evacuation routes and procedures are located on the inside of all guest room

entrance doors.

GUEST ROOMS

All of our rooms are 2 room suites featuring a separate living room and bedroom, each suite also

includes two remote control color televisions, On Command Video with Web TV and Wireless High

Speed Internet access, wet bar with refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeemaker, hairdryer, oversized

work desk and data port phones with voice mail.

The hotel’s current bedding breakdown is as follows:

168 King Sized Bedded Suites, 56 Double Bedded Suites.

Virginia state law and local enforcement of national fire codes mandate that there is a maximum of four

guests per room in King bed suites and a maximum of six guest per room in our double bedroom suites.

HOUSEKEEPING

Daily housekeeping services, which consists of general cleaning, take place between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00

p.m. should one of your guests require special times of service, requests may be made directly with the

Front Desk or your Catering/Events Manager.

Each guest room is provided with several special service amenities either at no charge or for a nominal

fee. These items include: an iron and ironing board, coffee makers, hairdryers, bath/shower amenities,

and extra pillows. Additional bedding available for children: cribs and rollways. Please note there is a

maximum of four persons (including children) allowed per king room and six persons (including children)

in double rooms.

IN-ROOM DINING / ROOM SERVICE

Our In-room Dining is open 12 hours a day for lunch, dinner, snacks and beverage service. We are happy

to offer In-Room Dining from 11am to 11pm. In-Room Dining can be reached at extension ‘129’ in-

house.

LIQUOR LAWS

The Commonwealth of Virginia has strict liquor laws that must be followed by the Embassy Suites

Richmond. Because the hotel is only licensed-authorized to sell and serve alcoholic beverages that were

purchased by the Embassy Suites Richmond, no group may bring in their own alcohol to be served. The

legal drinking age in Virginia is 21.

Your Catering/Event Manager may provide a copy of some of the applicable Commonwealth of Virginia

liquor laws upon request.

LOST AND FOUND

It is the policy of Hilton Hotels Corporation to make every effort to return any found property to its

rightful owner. All found property in the hotel will be recorded, stored, and disposed of, whether it is

found in a guestroom, public space, or any other area of your hotel. We will make every attempt to

determine the legitimate owner and return the found property. If the owner cannot be determined

within ninety days (or other time period specified by local law), the found property will be disposed of in

accordance with the state law. If no local or state law exists, or these agencies decline involvement, the

property shall be returned to the finder. This policy does not apply to minor items found on the property

such as a toothbrush, ladies hosiery, cigarettes, etc.

MANAGER ON DUTY (M.O.D.)

For your convenience, a manager on duty is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be accessed

via the guest service hotline at extension ‘0’.

PARKING

The Embassy Suites Richmond offers ample self parking with over 300 spaces. Self-parking is

complimentary and we do have room for large buses as well.

PETS (POLICY)

Only Service animals are welcome and must be accompanied by the owner.

RECYCLING

The Embassy Suites Richmond is proud to be a responsible recycler and a member of Virginia Green®.

The hotel has a paper, plastic, and glass recycling program. There are recycling receptacles located on

property, and our waste disposal company has a trash separator which captures recyclable materials

from ordinary refuse.

SAFES/SAFE DEPOSIT BOXES

A limited number of Safe Deposit Boxes are available for your convenience at the Front Desk 24 hours a

day.
