Hinged “Snap-On” Windshield Installation Instructions for the 3000WS

Assembly:

1. Remove the protective coating form the plastic panels. Use a razor to score the paper along the edges of the PVC plastic extrusions. As-semble the 4 extrusion sleeves on the sides for the grab handle. The loops extend from the bottom of the lower panel. Attach the bulb gasket to the contoured edge.

2. Remove the white liner to expose the adhesive on the Velcro in the sleeves. When you install them, the wool side will adhere to the roll cage and help to keep the windshield in place.

3. Unfold the hinge and locate the panel on the frame and snap the sleeves into place along the roll cage. Start at the bottom and work up-wards. A flat screwdriver may be helpful to guide the sleeves over the frame tubing. Snap the lower panel down to engage the gasket against the hood.

Notes: USE THE LOOPS AT THE BOTTOM CORNERS TO LIFT THE HANGED PANEL; THIS WILL AVOID DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVES. The windshield is made of a durable clear acrylic. It has a hard surface but will scratch. We recommend coating it with a plastic sealant for scratch protection. We sell “Brillianize” (see reverse side) in spray bottles. Follow the en-closed manufacturer’s cleaning procedures to minimize abrasion. Do not use Ammonia based cleaners. The windshield can be trailered in a forward position. It can withstand normal (legal) speeds, but should be removed for ex-cessive speed or headwind situations. On some models (i.e. the diesel Mule), it may be neces-sary to trim part of a plastic sleeve to allow for proper mounting.

Two passenger side sleeves are included. One fits the regular 3000/10 Mule, and the other fits the Trans Mule.
