THE CLIENTThe client provides 3d modelling SaaS service for viewing the content as a 3d model.
CHALLENGEClient’s interest mainly involved creating a user friendly website that not only provides a good user interface but should tackle the most important issue i.e. the size of 3d file(s) to be displayed being very large and hence, slowing the performance.

HOW ERPredefined HELPEDERPredefined did the requirement analysis by conducting several meetings with the client. After understanding the requirements, we conducted a feasibility study regarding the solution that will best serve the client to provide current needs while must also be expandable. We created a user friendly design, validated it from client in the initial phase by providing prototypes of the working website design. We also created a configurable setting in backend that provides the flexibility to the admin for the choice of 3d model to be displayed on the website which makes it easier to update the website more often. ERPredefined solution architects analyzed the core problem in of performance lag in detail with triAyaam team and helped in development of algorithm to decrease the size of 3d model for better rendering on variety of browsers with good performance.

The key solution provided by our UI developers was to use CSS3 media queries to adjust the UI as per the size of the browser viewport (scree size). To provide solution to the unique layout of graphs, ERPredefined made use of canvas and svg and written code for custom control that communicates with backend using AJAX based asynch calls in JSON formatted data.
