Wednesday, July 4 Happy Birthday America!

6 am-12 pm, Meadowlake Fishing Derby. Free entey, prizes awarded. At Meadowlake Park, Van Buren & Rupe.

10 am-12 pm, Leonardos Hometown Celebration. Games, door prizes, face painting and more. $3 for members,

$6 for non-members. At Leonardos Childrens Museum, 200 E Maple.

4 pm, baseball, Enid Majors vs Woodward, doubleheader at David Allen Memorial Ballpark, 301 S Grand.

7 pm, NCRA Races, Late Models, Sport Mod, Factory Stock & Pure Stock, at Enid Speedway, 4th & Oxford.

7 pm-10 pm, American Legion Dance, live classic country music, 121 W Oak, $5 admission per person.8 pm-10 pm, Whet Your Whistle Wednesday, live music at Q-Spot, 221 W Cherokee

8:30 pm, The Pulse of Liberty. Enid Symphony Orchestra will present a concert of patriotic music leading up to

and during the fireworks celebration. At Meadowlake Park, Van Buren & Rupe.

Thursday, July 5

7 pm, The Venus Transit. Last month Venus passed across the sun for the last time in our lives. Learn what a

transit of a planet is, at NOC Mackie Planetarium, Randolph & Hedges. Admission is free but a non-perishable food item

for Horn of Plenty would be appreciated.

8:30 pm, live music at The Captains Quarters, 224 W Broadway.

Friday, July 66 pm, Main Street Enids First Friday. Shopping, dining and live entertainment makes the Downtown Square your

after-hours destination.

Saturday, July 7

8 am-11 am, Enid Farmers Market, an open-air market for the sale of Oklahoma-grown produce, foods and

crafts. Corner of Owen K Garriott and Grand.

9 am-4 pm, Travis Billings Memorial Car Show, East parking lot of Chisholm Trail Expo Center, 111 W Purdue.

7 pm, Roller Derby, Enid Roller Giris vs. OSO, at Skatetown, 905 Overland Trail.
