Did you know?
Under the Companion Animals Act 1998 No. 87 (14.1.e),
dogs are prohibited in school grounds, (whether or not
they are leashed or otherwise controlled)
For the safety of all students, toddlers, babies, staff,
parents and carers, please do not bring dogs into the
school grounds, even on leashes. Some children and
adults have a genuine fear of dogs and it can be very
distressing for children and their parents, as well as other
adults. Thank you for support in this matter.

Dear Parents and Carers,
Would you like to win a $100 gift voucher?
Then we would like you to participate in The Partners in Learning parent feedback survey! Our school is participating in the Partners in Learning parent survey. The survey asks parents and carers questions about different factors that are known to impact on student wellbeing and engagement. Completing this survey will help our school understand parents’ and carers’ perspectives on their child’s experience at school. This valuable feedback will help our school make practical improvements. Each and every year we request feedback from our families. We appreciate everyone’s time is valuable, and that we are all very busy, so we are offering an incentive so we can hit TRIPLE DIGITS in our 2016 survey response numbers! We will be offering the chance to go into a draw to win one of FOUR Wish Gift Cards. The first name drawn will win a $100 gift card, followed by a $50 gift card and two $25 gift cards. The survey is conducted entirely online, via your phone, on a home computer or on a public computer. The survey typically takes around 5 minutes to complete and is completely confidential. The survey is open from now until 21 October. More information about the survey is available at: http://surveys.cese.nsw.gov.au/information-for-parents Each family at EVPS has the opportunity to access the survey via
https://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/v582b Once the survey has been completed, families are asked to
inform the school in one of two ways:
1. Complete the survey on a computer, take a screen shot of the ‘Well done! Thanks for
completing the online survey’ page, together with the date and time stamp from the bottom
right corner, and email it to the school with your details.
2. Complete the survey on your phone, take a screen shot of the ‘Well done! Thanks for
completing the online survey’ page, then through the Skoolbag app, click on ‘More’ in the
bottom right corner, then click on Email School, attaching your screen shot and your details.
The school will verify the details of the family that completed the survey so that their name can be
added to the draw. Thank you for taking the time to participate in the survey.
