When I first saw this cute and adorable DIY kid’s hair accessory, I wanted to bring a bunch of them

home for my little angels. However, as a crafter, I prefer to create my own handmade jewelry

designs. So I made one myself! I’ll teach you here how to make this cute string wrapped headband

adorned with bright rhinestones.

Things used in this handmade

jewelry design:

Blank Headband

Yarn or Nylon Thread

Rhinestone Trim

Glue

Scissors

How to make the DIY kids hair accessory:

: Cover your table with old newspapers or magazines. Step 1

This handmade jewelry design was specially prepared for the approaching Children’s Day. You will learn to

make this featured DIY kids hair accessory that is decorated with shimmering rhinestones. It’s really cute!

: Prepare a long strip of rhinestone trim Step 2

and an even longer length of string. Starts by

gluing the string onto the inside of you’re blank

headband.

: Wrap the thread around the Step 3

headband over and over to cover it up.

When you get to the teeth of the headband,

only wrap twice between each of them. This

will make wrapping the rhinestone chain easier

in later steps.

: After covering the entire headband, Step 4

glue the end of the string as you did at the

beginning. Secure glue drops.

And that’s that!

This entire handmade jewelry design only took me

less than an hour, and I love the results so much. For
