There are broad applications of DSR wire ropes in China and Hong Kong. It has occupied about 40% market share in terms of the wire ropes used by the container ports in China and Hong Kong since 2007.

Competitive Strength

• DSR has been listed in South Korea Stock Market since 2003. They are one of the largest wire rope manufacturers in South Korea with annual produc-tion capacity of over 70,000 tons.

• DSR can produce a wide range of wire ropes including compacted and plastic inserted specifica-tions. The average delivery lead time is only about two and a half months which is much shorter than other imported wire rope manufacturers.

• DSR can produce super big size ropes. The largest diameter produced is 150mm and the weight of single reel can be up to 156 ton. The ropes are suitable to be used at offshore marine and mining purpose.

• DSR was voted as No. 1 imported wire rope brand by the Technical Committee of the China Ports Association Container Branch in Year 2005.

• The quality of DSR wire ropes is very reliable. It is as good as Japanese or European wire ropes but the prices are generally much lower.

• The factory has obtained approval of ISO9001, JIS, LLOYD’S and also American Petroleum Institute (API 9A-0067).
