Thiscatamaranshipisbuiltfroma40ftcontainer(engineroom)inthemiddleandhas2floatingbodiesonbothsides(Length24meter).Ontopoftheengineroom,isasteercabinpositioned.Youcanenterthesteercabinbystairsnexttotheengineroomandtheplatformontop.

Insidetheengineroomthedredgepumpø410mm,belttransmission,dieselengine(forthedredgepump)anddieselengine(forhydraulics),thehydraulicsystem(forwinches,cutterwheelandspuds),dieselgenerator10kVAandglandpumpsareinstalled.Thedredgepumpismountedinthepontoonwhichpositionsthedredgepump60%underthewaterline.Thiswaythepumpstartsveryeasybecausethereisalreadywaterinsidethepump.

The2floatersonbothsides,everyfloaterishollowhas3watertightsectionsand2ballasttanks.Oneofthesectionscontainsaseparatedieseltanktoprovidethedieselengines.Ontopofthefloatersisaplatformwitharailing.Thefloatersareconnectedtoeachotherbybeamsunderthecontainer,ladderportal,thewinchframeandladderhinge.

Thesteercabinismountedontopoftheengineroomandgivesaclearviewoverthedredger.Theinstrumentsaremountedinadeskandareeasytoconnectwiththeengineroomswitchboard.OptionalontopofthiscabinisasunroofinstalledandoptionalisinsidethecabinanAC.

Oneoftheadvantagesofthissystemis,thatbig,small,lightweightandheavyparticleswillbeflushedtothesurfacewithoutpumpshowgetstuck.Onthesurfaceyoucanseewhathappensenacteasilyandquick,whenneeded.Byselectingthegarbageofdirt,youavoidthesuckitupforasecondorthirdtime.Bypumpingthesandandwatertoshore,themostneededmaterialwillbetransportedoverwatertothenextpickuppointorclassificationinstallation.Thegarbagecanbedumpedinavessel,bigbag,etcetera.
