War broke out on 2011,when government tries to suppress theanti-government movement .

War fought by several factions: Syrian government and itsvarious supporters versus Loose alliance of Sunni Arab rebelgroups (including free Syrian army), Syrian democratic force,Salafi jihadist groups, Islamic state of Iraq and the levant ( ISIL).

More than 250000 lost their lives in four and half years of armedconflict.
