WATER PROJECTS: SUMMARY

Preventing illness can come down to simple things like clean water, bathrooms, and soap. Many impoverished communities around the world do not have access to these basics that can slow the spread of disease worldwide.

Islamic Relief USA donors have supported projects to provide sanitary facilities, clean water systems, and hygiene items to help reduce the number of people who get sick. More than this, IRUSA is working hard to deliver long-term solutions to water and sanitation issues, including training and education for water resource maintenance and better hygiene practices, so that even people in remote areas will have the knowledge and resources to stay healthy.
