The Bus rides were long and excruciating but it all paid off with the beautiful scenery.

On the border we stopped off at a couple of Maquiladoras. At on of the Maquilas, TRW, I was surprised by the slide show they presented us when they showed the many programs provided for the workers such as English classes.

The first city we arrived in was Monterrey, Mexico. It was a beautiful city with fabulous architecture and the shopping there was great.

Page 5: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The people there were very friendly and the night life there was very upbeat and festive.

Page 6: Doing Buiness In Mexico

Our next stop was the Museo Del Desierto which translates into The Museum of the Desert.

Page 7: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The museum was filled with history and very interesting artifacts as well.

Page 8: Doing Buiness In Mexico

I enjoyed the stuffed animals that they had on display there. They were so life like and real.

Page 9: Doing Buiness In Mexico

They had a variety of live animals, but they also had an equal amount of dead ones as well.

Next on our agenda was Zacatecas, Mexico. The hardest part of this trip was climbing this little hill they call La Bufa. It was quite a workout.

Page 11: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The hotel we stayed in, Meson De La Merced, was probably my most favorite hotel because it really had that Mexican feel and look.

Page 12: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The old architecture the was dazzling because an old school aqueduct before.

Page 13: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The architecture, like I said, was beautiful and the colors were so magnificent.

Page 14: Doing Buiness In Mexico

We visited Aguascalientes, Mexico next. Here we visited the Nissan plant, JATCO, where they make the car transmissions for companies like Nissan

Page 15: Doing Buiness In Mexico

We also visited the Monterrey Tech University campus there in Aguascalientes where we discovered that it’s a lot harder to get the grade you want than what we thought.

Page 16: Doing Buiness In Mexico

Leon would have been my most favorite place if I had had more money. Other than that, the place was fabulous and full of shopping. I loved it.

Page 17: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The city of Queretaro was another amazing city. I was Stunned by its aqueduct that spanned about 1280 meters long. That’s more than a dozen football fields.

The look from the base of the pyramid look like a piece of cake.

Page 20: Doing Buiness In Mexico

We really had to warm up our bodies with some agilities before we hit the big monster.

Page 21: Doing Buiness In Mexico

Boy was I wrong. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it to be; however, I enjoyed the workout.

Page 22: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The only thing harder than climbing the pyramid would probably be fighting off the vendors. These guys were so relentless. As you can see in this picture, a vendor sneaks up on Big John Tukia to try to sell him another souvenir.

Page 24: Doing Buiness In Mexico

As for me, you can already see that I had triumphed over my adversary. I bargained my product from $130 to $40. After my victory I raise my battle spear in triumph as my foe rises from his defeat.

The National Palace

Page 27: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The National Palace in Mexico City was huge and the art work there was one of a kind.

Page 28: Doing Buiness In Mexico

All the art work on the walls in the palace was painted by Diego Rivera between 1929 and 1945.

Page 29: Doing Buiness In Mexico

As some people don’t know about Rivera was that he was an atheist. In this picture he depicts Nazism. He was told to either remove the images of Karl Marx or not be paid for his work. What do you think he picked?

Page 30: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The city was so alive during the day and the traffic…well, that was a WHOLE different story.

Page 31: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The people of Mexico City were very interesting but friendly simultaneously

Page 32: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The Cathedral was absolutely amazing. The architecture was something I’ve never seen in my life.

Page 33: Doing Buiness In Mexico

These guys really freaked me out. Like Dr. Ortiz said “It’s bungee jumping on steroids!”

Page 34: Doing Buiness In Mexico

Probably my most favorite place in Mexico City was the Basilica. I’m not Catholic but I was still breath taken by the church’s massive size and beauty. I was also excited about getting a rosary and bracelet blessed for my aunty who is Catholic. I just wish we could have stayed there a bit longer to enjoy the place more.

Page 35: Doing Buiness In Mexico

Here’s a picture of me in front of the “Pope Mobile”…hahaha, just joking, but this is what he traveled in during parades. It’s only a bullet proof bus for the most popular man in the world, nothing major.

Page 36: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The Castillo was a pretty sight. I would loved to have lived there. The place is so big and fancy. The only hard part was getting there but we had a better way of getting there besides hiking…

Page 37: Doing Buiness In Mexico

So we caught a train. Thanks to Miss Ortiz she couldn’t hike that far due to her pregnancy so we had to take the alternative and we were happy to accompany the family.

Page 38: Doing Buiness In Mexico

After 9 long days of hiking up pyramids and mountains, 6 hour bus rides, and sleeping on rock hard beds we all needed some kind of release and boy were we in for a treat.

Page 39: Doing Buiness In Mexico
Page 40: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The beach was so beautiful and so were the women. hahaha

Page 41: Doing Buiness In Mexico

The best part was the ATVs. We had so much fun riding them we did it twice.

Page 42: Doing Buiness In Mexico

It was a little hot there but we all managed to get our shirts off and have a blast.

Page 43: Doing Buiness In Mexico

After we had all our fun we were spent and ready to head out of Mexico and back home.
