1. INTRODUCTION
The project web site and wiki pages are designed to act as both the outward facing public
dissemination channel for all project activities and the communications hub of the project.
The project web site http://www.mires.cc/ in particular aims to attract the widest possible
range of external stakeholders by presenting the state-of-the-art in Music Information
Research, in a form of demonstrative videos on the front page (Showcase Area), as well as by
providing up-to-date information about MIReS related conferences, workshops and trade shows
at the Research Area pages.
The project wiki pages http://mires.eecs.qmul.ac.uk/wiki/index.php/Main_Page serve as a full
project documentation storage (WP2) freely available online to the general public as well as the
platform for development of the Roadmap (WP3). In addition, there is a private space in order
to host documents relevant to the project execution and reporting, which is only available for
MIReS partners.
