The Explorer’s Class continues its Advent series today and next Sunday. “What and Who are you waiting for?” is the topic for this study. Various titles have been attributed to Jesus throughout the centuries. Where did they come from and which are the most meaningful to you? DVD segments from Biblical scholars and input from the class will be the format for this class will be the format for this class. 9:00 a.m. in the Adult Room.
The Adult Contemporary Issues Class is studying and discussing “Mythology, Religion and the Judeo-Christian Tradition.” We are exploring mythology as “literature of the Spirit, a study of the inner life” and examining the function of Judeo-Christian symbols as keys to our spiritual understanding. Class meets at 10:30 a.m. in the Adult Room.
The 50+ Christmas Party will be on the second Friday, Dec. 14 th, at 12:00 noon in the Shalimar Country Club Restaurant, 2032 E. Golf Ave., Tempe. The program by our own Rev. Dr. Jane Tews will highlight

The Connie Reading Circle meets on Thursday, December 13th, at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Marti Glover, (480) 460-2314. Members will share Christmas stories and experiences.
The Mary Martha Circle meets on Thursday, December 13th, at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Beth Cadman, (480) 345-2346. Marilyn Miller will present the program.

Women’s Retreat 2013 - Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 23, 2013 and plan to attend this upcoming event. The retreat will be held at the same location as last year at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale. More information will be coming!
