G. Summary of my research and professional Activities
26
My research work is targeted at creating and strengthening the link
between the accumulated scientific data and the educational field. This
aspiration has been accompanied me since my doctorate studies that
was followed by several scientific efforts in two main domains:
1. The investigation of 1st language acquisition process in
Arabic
2. Implementation of the acquired knowledge in the
educational field.
My work has concentrated on the developmental aspects of language
acquisition (from pre-school to High school) among diverse population.
I believe that the integration science based knowledge in the field is a
key element for innovation and advancement education and the related
fields, inducing both educational and social change. Since 2004, I have
occupied several positions: language and literacy counselor in order to
advance pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities, researcher and
developer of literacy intervention programs and administrator of
educational material developing unit etc. Such diversity has enriched my
practical and scientific knowledge in various domains, like linguistics,
psycholinguistics and literacy acquisition.
My research domains are as follows:

developmental perspective (sectional and cross-sectional
studies).
2. Building language learning assessment tools, specifically
in Arabic.
3. Building science-based holistic intervention programs.
4. Developing academic training workshops and programs
to for fostering language skills.
