[And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because

of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will

find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Don’t copy the behavior and cus-

toms of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way

you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing

This year I will be concentrating on living out Romans chapter 12. This chapter goes on to say that

just as our one physical body has many parts, and each part has a special function within our body,

so it is with the Church body. There are many individuals who each have unique talents that God

has seen fit to give them for use within His body.

We are called to live for God, using all that He has given us to bring glory to Him . We do this by

using those talents to bring others to Him.

So what ever you do, do it with all your heart, soul and mind unto God’s glory.

LIFERUN 2016

This is an annual fundraising event the entire family will enjoy held in the

Colville “Yep Kanum city park! This year we are attempting to

cash in on more favorable weather, and have changed the date

of the event from the last Saturday in April to Saturday, May 21st.

The excitement begins at 9 a.m. with day of registration for the

5k Run/Walk, & 80 mi. Motorcycle Run and blossoms into a fun

family day in the park. There will be bands performing for your enjoyment, a

Bouncy house for the “little ones”, as well as numerous other activities for the

children and those ”young at heart”. NEW this year, we are adding a bicycle run

and a children’s 1/2 mile run/walk around the park. Check out the entry form or

our website for more information. We encourage everyone to join in the fun this

year and to make it an annual event for your family. Remember you can pre-

register online at www.newfamilylifeservices.com or in person at the office,

We need your help for LifeRun

-LifeRun is a Family Fun Day in the

Colville “Yep Kanum” City Park.

To raise funds for N.E.W. Family Life Services

LifeRun is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2016

We would like to invite your church to participate in

LifeRun by setting up a children’s activity booth for the

day. The booth can be anything your group would like

to do to minister to children. Carnival type games, sto-

ry time, puppet shows… whatever sounds fun. We al-

so encourage you to bring handout type literature for

your ministry to give to families.

If your group is unable to participate with a booth,

there are many other volunteer opportunities the day

of the event that we could use help with.

Classes Available

We have added to our educational library here at the center. There

are now 159 Earn While You Learn Classes available which include

information on pregnancy and childbirth as well as parenting new-

born-early teens. We have two different relationship classes. “Love &

Respect” by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs and “The 5 Love Languages” by

Gary Chapman. These classes are available to all our clients, but we would like to make

them available to anyone who would like to learn more about these topics. If you are in-

terested or know anyone who may be interested please contact Vonnie at the center

684-9895.

Event Information: There are 3 ways you can register:

LIFE RUN 2016 5k Run/Walk/Bicyle & 80 mile Motorcycle Run will take place in Colville, WA at Yep Kanum City Park (Hawthorn & Elm 2 blks. East of roundabout on Hwy. 395 South). Pre-registration for this event will begin on Friday, April 1st. and be postmarked no later than Wednesday May 4th to receive your T-Shirt the day of the event. All registrations received after May 4th will have to pick-up their T-Shirt at the center after June 15th. All pre-registered participants must check-in to the registration table 15 minutes prior to their race time. Walk-in registration will be available from 9:30 a.m.

– 10:15 a.m. All registration ends at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 21st .

At check-in, race participants will receive their number, a t-shirt (for those participants who pre-order them), and sign a participation waiver. If you would like a t-shirt please be sure to complete the form below and include an addi-

tional $12.

Children’s activities, live music, food, beverages and more will be available during the event!!! Awards for top runners/riders and prizes for top three fund

raisers to be announced at one o’clock at the Shelter Stage!

There is free parking around the park including the city pool parking lot. This

is a residential neighborhood. Please be courteous.

Motorcycle Route: $15 rider/$10 passenger. Colville N. on Hwy 395 to Hwy. 25. S. on Hwy. 25 to Gifford. E. on Addy/Gifford Rd to Addy. N. on

Hwy 395 back to the park.

5k Run/Walk/Bike Route: $10w/o t-shirt/ $22 w/ t-shirt. From Yep Kanum City Park East on Forest to Cedar. South on Cedar to Shiloh Hill. Up Shiloh Hill to 1 ½ mile marker cone. Turn around and return to finish at the park on same route (water station at 1 & 2 mile marker). Helmets are required for all bicyclists. Day of Registrations will be $5.00 more per participant.
