Police Michael Robert Spare, 51,

of Afton was charged with driving while suspended 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mal-achy School.

Spare was released on $300 bond.

37, 400 N. Cherry St., was charged with domestic as-sault 7:10 p.m. Wednesday at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, Moore struck the victim in the face. The victim had red marks on the right side of her face.

Moore was being held awaiting an appearance be-

fore the magistrate.

Union County Sheriff

Alan Leo Peacock, 54, of Winterset was charged on a Union County warrant for failure to appear 9:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Peacock was being held on $5,000 bond.

North Sumner Accident: A 2010 Lincoln sits on the side of North Sumner Avenue after an accident 8:22 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of West Prairie Street and North Sumner Avenue. Jeremy Wayne Flynn, 42, of Creston was cited for failure to maintain control after the accident. According to a Creston Police report, Flynn, driving a 2010 Lincoln west on West Prairie Street approaching the intersection slid through the intersection and struck a 2017 Freightliner driven by Bryce David Hood, 24, of Carl Junction, Missouri, who was traveling north in the right hand lane of North Sumner Avenue . Hood’s vehicle then struck a 2007 Hyundia driv-en by Alexandria Renee Whitfield, 16, of Creston, who was traveling north in the left hand lane of North Sumner Avenue. Estimated damages were $10,000 to Flynn’s vehicle, $2,500 to Hood’s vehicle and $5,000 to Whitfield’s vehicle.
