High performance: The Verdicorp range of expanders have frictionless operation, and

because of their unique motor and power electronics technology,

they infinitely vary their capacity to ensure constant and accurate

operation. The systems operate at their most optimal point, and

automatically adjusts their operating speed to match the available

heat.

In cases where residual heat is used for heating purposes during the

cooler months, as the heating demand decreases during warmer

months, the excess energy can be fed to the ORC and turned back

into electricity.

With its “Smart Control” and its integrated VFD, the ORC system

closely matches the available heat, allowing for the optimal use of

the energy, that would otherwise be wasted.

Sustainable energy efficiency: Installing energy efficient equipment is very important to any Bio-gas plant, however retaining that efficiency in a sustainable way is even more important. Conventional oil lubricated systems drop off in effi-ciency over time as parts start to wear. But the Verdi-Sys with no friction can maintain its efficiency over the entire life of the system This combination of Verdi-Sys oil-free ORC technology and bio-gas

When thinking bio-gas, consider capital costs, operating costs and

Improving bio-gas power generation efficiencies:

Bio-gas plants are all about generating renewable energy, and reducing the

carbon footprint. The Verdi-Sys ORC system has been designed to increase

the electrical output from the residual heat generated from the existing bio-

gas system, thus increasing the bio-gas plants overall efficiency.

Waste heat can be captured from both the exhaust gas, and the water jack-

et heat of an engine and converted back into useful electricity.

Verdi-Sys Organic Rankine Cycle:

The Verdi-Sys ORC can convert low grade heat from as low as 95 °C (203 °C) and put this energy back to work. Owners of bio-gas plants already understand that generating carbon neutral renewable energy is both a wise financial investment, and a sound environ-mental investment, and Verdicorp also understands this. Verdicorp ORC systems have been designed to optimize the performance of a bio-gas plant, by producing more power with no more fuel. The ORC continues to produce green electrical energy throughout the year, and as other needs for the residual heat might vary throughout the year, the infinitely variable turbine tunes itself to match the available heat and contin-ues to convert the available heat back into electrical energy, helping offset the operating costs of other portions of the plant. As the turbine has no friction and has the intelligence to track the available

heat, they are able to operate over a wide operating range without turning

System flexibility: The Verdi-Sys systems can be configured in stand alone, mobile or modular

Improving bio-gas performance with Verdi-Sys: Verdicorp now offers a range of high-efficient oil-free Organic Ran-kine Cycle Systems (ORC’s) that have been designed to work in conjunction with bio-gas and bio-mass plants. These ORC systems generate clean, green electrical power from waste heat sources, such as motor generator sets.
