Accreditation Maintenance
It only takes a minute
Maintenance is a snap, especially when you
record your activities as you go.
All kinds of professional
development activities will give
you maintenance credits:
• Reading books on PR
• Attending seminars and conferences
• Volunteering for CPRS
• Community service
• Taking PR courses or teaching PR
courses
Start at the CPRS home page
Maintenance is very easy, especially when you record your activities as you go.
Start at www.cprs.ca and follow these simple steps.
Click on the Member Login
Use your member login to access
Accreditation Maintenance.
The Login name is your email address that you
provided to CPRS.
The password is your member number plus a
word, sent to you when you joined.
Click on Accreditation Maintenance
Click on
Accreditation Maintenance On-Line
You will see this screen and you can add a new Maintenance Record
by clicking the button above the red and yellow screen.
When you see this screen, you are ready to
add your Maintenance units.
Three simple steps
Choose the Type:
•Training
•Professional Activities
•Community Service
Include a brief description
and the date
To check the number of
units, click here for the list
The sheet opens up with all the unit
values for each type of activity.
Save and you are done!
• You can enter as many
records as you want.
• The total units are
automatically calculated.
• You can submit only
when you have entered at
least 5 training units and
15 total units.
What if I make a mistake?
If you need to correct
your entry, simply
click on Edit.
The screen will go
back to that record
and you can make
your changes.
Oops!
You are nearly done!
Your correction
appears on the main
screen after you
have saved your
changes.Easy!
Submit to CPRS by clicking the “Notify”
button at the bottom
• Just click here when you
are done and have
accumulated at least 15
units, with a minimum of
5 Training units.
CPRS National receives your
submission and sends your certificate
It is quick and easy to record your
maintenance activities
• Whenever you log in to the CPRS website, or if you have recently
completed a qualifying activity, take a minute to record your activities for
maintenance credits.
• Show the world you are a maintained APR and keep up to date with the
latest in professional development!
