Assan Alüminyum, one of the world’s leading manufacturer in the flat-rolled aluminium (FRP) industry, has been producing coil & sheet, foil and pre-painted aluminium products since its establishment in 1988, offering its products to a variety of sectors such as packaging, distribution, construction, consumer durables, automotive and HVAC. Assan Alüminyum, a subsidiary of Kibar Holding, has an installed annual capacity reaching up to 300 thousand tons in its production facilities located in Istanbul and Kocaeli - Turkey. The company is currently the 3rd largest aluminium foil manufacturer in Europe, with an aluminium foil production capacity reaching up to 100 thousand tons.

Assan Foods was founded with the latest technologies in 1998 in Susurluk, an area near the Karacabey Plain where majority of the industrial tomatoes used in the production of tomato paste are grown. Assan Foods started its operations with tomato processing and tomato paste production. In 2000, ketchup production started and in 2002 mayonnaise and sauces were added to the company’s portfolio. Today the Susurluk Factory manufactures more than 300 products, including high-quality tomato and red pepper paste, ketchup, mayonnaise, and various sauces.

The factory in Susurluk has one of the highest tomato processing capacities in Turkey. Established on an open area of 200,000 m2, the factory consists of production, storage, management, and service buildings, along with social facilities, that make up a total area of 21,600 m2. The industrial investment of Assan Foods, which has the capacity to process 4,500 tons of fresh tomatoes and produce 2.5 million products per day, is above 50 million dollars. More investments are underway.
Since its establishment, Assan Foods has exported to over 70 different countries and continues to export to more than
30 countries located in 4 continents. For years, the company has been operating in line with quality standards and has been regularly audited by certification bodies and customers. The company holds significant quality certifications, such as ISO 9001: 2008, BRC, IFS, and TSE.
Moreover, tomatoes used as raw material in the products of Assan Foods are grown with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and smart agriculture projects.

Assan Hanil, one of Kibar Group’s automotive companies was established in 1997 with the partnership of South Korean Seoyon E-Hwa, started production as an OEM Part Supplier in the automotive industry.
It became one of the important suppliers of Ford Otosan as of 2005 while it was supplying parts only for Hyundai Assan in the early years of its establishment. In addition to production of important parts of an M2 Light Commercial Vehicle (H350), which is a joint project between Karsan and Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), Assan Hanil has added Isuzu and Honda to its customer portfolio.

With over one thousand specialized employees working in its plants covering a total area of 80 thousand m² in three different locations; two in Kocaeli and one in Bursa, the company performs automation-based production activities with high technology. Today, Assan Hanil is a supplier of driver and passenger seat as well as door panels, front and rear bumper, instrument panel, console, carpet, FEM Carrier, blow molding parts, glove box, various interior and exterior plastic components. Assan Hanil has been certified to the quality of its production with ISO 9001-2008, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, OHSAS 18001, Ford Q1 and Hyundai 4 Star Quality System Certificates. It conducts studies on innovative projects for weight reduction, cost optimization and quality enhancements in its R&D Center established in 2010. Assan Hanil has 37 intellectual property rights registered and another 23 in the application process.

The leader in the sandwich panel sector, Assan Panel, started production in 1990 at its first factory with a capacity of 4 million m²/year in Tuzla.The company invested in a 3 million m²/year facility in Iskenderun in 2004, a 3 million m²/year facility in Balıkesir in 2009 and a 4.5 million m²/yearfacility in Jordan in 2012. In 2015, the company completed its investment in a second line at the 3.5 million m²/year capacity Tuzla Istanbul facility and reached a capacity of 18 million m²/year.
The Jordan facility of Assan Panel is installed on an indoor area of 6,500 m² and outdoor area of 10,000 m² with a fully automated production lineequipped with the newest technology and is the largest sandwich panel producer in the Middle East with a capacity of 4.5 million m².
Assan Panel has added its galvanized sheet metal experience of its group since 1980 to its own structure to provide its customers with galvanized sheet metal products and services mostly for the construction and building sector. Products in the flat product group according to the needs of construction and building sector companies, are kept in stock for customer demand and presented to customers. Under the products groups that are the main items of galvanized and prepainted sheet metal are also roll, panel, grooved, blind and corrugated sheet products. Assan Panel, a leader in the sector by a wide margin ensures fire safety by using polyurethane, PIR (polyisocyanurate) and rock wool insulation materials in its sandwich panel products and contributes to the construction of safe
buildings. The company provides superior quality applicationservices with a good quality, safe and fire resistant product range and business partners, both domestic and international. Assan Panel, a company that has pioneered many firsts in the sector, earned an FM certificate in 2015 to become the only producer in Turkey with FM approval without height restriction on buildings. In 2010, Assan Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. founded the company in the Aegean Free Zone with the aim of producing tomato paste for export and increasing competitive strength in global markets while also fulfilling customer needs and expectations.
The Ege Assan plant is established on an area of 4,500 m² and has the capacity to package 24,000 tons of tomato paste per year.

Tomato paste, the raw material of the products manufactured at the plant, is imported from California, the region which processes the most tomatoes in the world, and the paste is later re-processed and packaged in tin cans and glass packaging at the Izmir plant.
The products are exported to countries in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Arabian Peninsula, and sales activities aiming to established trade with other countries are successfully being carried out.

Hyundai Assan, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in Turkey in 2017, is jointly managed by the Hyundai Motor Company and Kibar Group, which hold 70% and 30% of shares, respectively. As the compact automobile base of the brand with a total investment of 1.2 billion TRY, Hyundai Assan produces over 230,000 units of i10 and i20 models per year, which are exported to more than 40 countries, with the help of 2,800 employees. As one of the most popular automobile brands in Turkey, Hyundai Assan sells over 50,000 vehicles per year via 71 distributors around the country and exports mainly to Germany, the U.K., and Italy.

As the first overseas manufacturing facility of the Hyundai Motor Company, the Hyundai Assan İzmit Factory is located on an area of 1 million m² and has a maximum production capacity of 245,000 vehicles per year as of 2017. Manufacturing 36 units of the i10 and i20 models per hour, the factory controls each final product at 1,500 points before making deliveries. The Hyundai Assan Factory, which carries out assembly using first class production processes and holds ISO 9001 Quality Management
and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification, hosts a total of 213 advanced robots. With the help of a state of the art automation system and robots manufactured with the latest technology, one automobile is produced every 90 seconds at the factory in which digitalization through Industry 4.0 practices is prioritized.

Ispak Ambalaj is a well-established and fast-growing Turkish packaging company. TSI manufacture aviation seats with authorization from EASA and FAA, and the manufactured seats are used in A320, A330, B737 and B777 aircraft series. With authorization from TSI and PMA (Parts Manufacturing Authority), the company manufactures spare aviation seat parts and offers maintenance services with Part 145 certification. As a result of the auditing by the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), the company obtained the ADOA (Alternative Procedures to Design Organisation Approval) in November of 2012 and the POA (Production Organization Approval) in December of 2013 and carries out manufacturing with authorization from the EASA and FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). The seats that TSI produces are used in the airplane models A320, A330, B737 and B777. As of the end of 2017, TSI has completed orders for 77 planes. TSI also has orders for 180 planes which will be delivered between 2018-2023. With a team consisting
of 85 employees, TSI carries out design, engineering, manufacturing, research and development activities at its new facility with an area of 1,000 m², which is located at Turkish Airlines’ HABOM (Aviation Maintenance Repair-Overhaul Center) at the Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. TSI SEATS Inc., which was founded by TSI for the American aviation industry, operates in Salt Lake City, Utah. TSI has a yearly seat production capacity of 10,000 pax, and has been certified by the FAA with the TSO certificate following audits.

Moreover, the renewal of its paint line facility and the construction of the Assan Aluminium Kocaeli Dilovası Factory and the Assan Hanil Production Facilities project, which are both investments by the Group, were carried out by Assan Yapı.
Assan Yapı acted as the contractor firm for the “İspak Packaging Factory” project, for which the foundations were laid in June of 2016 at the Asım Kibar Organized Industrial Zone in Izmit. The company is proud to have completed the project, which is one of the largest packaging factories in Europe, within 2016.

Kibar Enerji (Kibar Energy) was established in 2011 under the structure of Kibar Group to conduct importation and wholesale of natural gas in Turkish Energy Market. Kibar Enerji acquired 1 billion m3/year of natural gas purchase-sale contract under the West Line Contract transfer in 2012; and has become entitled to conduct importation and wholesale of natural gas as of 1 January 2013. Assan Port was put into service by Assan Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş., one of Kibar Group companies in İskenderun Organized Industrial Zone in June 2010. Assan Port İskenderun, the first container terminal providing services for modern container ships at İskenderun Bay, has become the second and a very important alternative following Mersin for the same hinterland. The company continues its business activities with the partnership made with TIL (Terminal Investment Limited SA) by the end of 2013.
