For almost two months between last December and January 2008, singPost staff have been giving their colleagues the ‘thumbs up’. During this period, staff were encouraged to show their appreciation to their colleagues who have provided them good internal customer service, by penning down the details of these outstanding acts on special stickers.

At singPost, we recognise that good internal customer service will naturally facilitate our work and pave the way for good service to all our customers. this service initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to support and promote a strong service culture within singPost.

this follows the feedback cards exercise held last year, which provided external customers a channel to shower compliments on our frontline and support staff, as well as to rate them on a number of service components such as courtesy and proactiveness.

on the ‘thumbs up’ initiative, Ms Candice Kee, Finance Assistant, said: “It is a really good idea! we are usually so busy with our work that we often forget to give our colleagues a pat on the back for their good service rendered. this exercise will serve as a reminder to us to thank them even after it is over.”
