Congruence1. What is SAS Congruency?2. What is ASA Congruency?3. In the Quadrilateral ABCD, AB//CD and BC//AD,
by which Congruency Rule the triangles ABD & CDB are congruent?
A D B C
Ans 1. Two triangles are said to be SAS congruent if two sides and the included angle of the one triangle are equal to the corresponding sides and the included angle of the other triangle.
Ans 2. Two triangles are said to be ASA congruent if two angles and the included side of the one triangle are equal to the corresponding angles and the included side of the other triangle.

Ans 3. Here it is given AB//CD & AD//BC∠ABD=∠CDB & ∠ADB=∠CBD – Alternate Angles
In ∆ABD & ∆CDB, we have ∠ABD=∠CDB ∠ADB=∠CBD and BD=DB(common side)
Therefore , ∆ABD & ∆CDB are congruent by ASA Congruency Rule
