MEANING

Globalization is both a challenge and an opportunity for Indian banks

to gain strength in the domestic market and increase presence in the global

market. On the basis of various parameters, paper finds that there is

a fast penetration of foreign banks in India and public sector banks, particu

larly SBI is intensively entering in foreign countries, same is the case of

ICICI Bank as this bank is capturing foreign markets at a fast pace. t the

end, the present paper finds some challenges and also e!plores the future

opportunities. On the basis of the e!perience of already global "ent banks,

paper suggests some strategies that ho" Indian banks can market their
