ਇਹੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਦਾਰਥੁ ਾਇ ਕ ਹਰਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਚਤ ਰਿਵ ਿਾਇ ॥

The blessing of this human life has been

obtained, but still, people do not lovingly

focus their thoughts on the Name of the

Lord. 27

ਬੰਦਉ ਹਇ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਗਹ ॥ ਬੰਦਕ ਹਇ ਬੰਧ ਸੁਰਧ ਿਹ ॥੨੯॥ Become the Lord's slave, and hold tight to

His meditation.

If you turn your thoughts to the Lord, the Lord

will take care of you like a relative. ||29|| 341

ਹਰਰ ਜੁਗਹ ਜੁਗ ਜੁਗ ਜੁਗਹ ਜੁਗ ਸਦ ੀੜੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਚਿੰਦੀ ॥ ਜੁਰਗ ਜੁਰਗ ੀੜੀ ਚਿ ਸਰਤਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਰਜਨੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਧਆਇਆ ॥

In age after age, through all the ages,

forever and ever, those who belong to the

Guru's Family shall prosper and increase.

Age after age, the Family of the True Guru

shall increase. As Gurmukh, they meditate

on the Naam. 79

ਕਮ ਕ ਆ ੁਉਾਇਆ ॥ਦੁਰਬਧਾ ਦਜੂਾ ਰਤਿਰਬਰਧ ਮਾਇਆ॥ ਚਉਥੀ ਉੜੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਰਿ ਊਚੀ ਸਚ ਸਚੁ ਕਮਾਵਰਿਆ ॥੪॥

First, the One created Himself;

Second, the sense of duality;

Third, the three-phased Maya.

The fourth state, the highest, is obtained by

the Gurmukh, who practices Truth, and only

Truth. ||4|| 113

God's love (Liv)and Love for Maya

(Dhat) are the two ways, and the way

you walk depends on your actions.

focus on Him) , and He Himself causes them

off others; he is an eater of filth, and a

worshipper of Maya. 507

• When you do Nidia you think you are better than others.

• Nidia will cause conflict in your family

ਮਰ ਮਨ ਤਰਜ ਰਨੰਦਾ ਹਉਮ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ॥

O my mind, give up slander, egotism and arrogance. 29

ਹਰਰ ਹਰਰ ਜੁ ਜੀ ਰਦਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਿਾਗ ਸਹਰਜ ਰਧਆਨਾ॥ ਕਿਮਿ ਦੁਿ ਜਾਰ ਿਭੂ ਰਚਤਾਰ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਦੁਰਮਰਤ ਨਾਸੀ॥

Chant, and meditate, day and night, on the

Lord, Har, Har. Focus your meditation on the

Celestial Lord.

The painful sins are burnt away, by keeping

God in one's thoughts; Durmat is erased. 781
