Sub: Rebate in freight to (i) MIs BALCO for transportation of Alumina,(ii) MIs Rajshree Cement for transportation of bulk cement and(iii) MIs Vedanta Aluminium Ltd. for transportation of Caustic Soda.

Ref: (i) Rates, Circular No.60 of 2009 {CCM/ECoR's Commercial Circular No.04(G)/10dt.12.01.2010} and corrigendum thereto and.

(ii)Rates Circular NO.15 of 2010 (Railway Board's letter No.TCR/1644/2009/1dtd.13.04.2010) {reference of which has been made at CCM/ECoR'sCommercial Circular NO.131 (G)/11 dt.25.11.2011} and Rates Circular NO.26 of2012 {CCM/ECoR's Commercial Circular NO.93 (G)/12 dtd.20.09.2012}

1.0 In terms of Rates Circular under reference, sanction was accorded to grant rebate infreight for Qulk cement, Alumina and Caustic Soda when loaded and transported in privatelyowned BCCW, BTAPHP and BTCS wagons respectively subject to fulfillment of certainterms and conditions as stipulated therein. These instructions are valid upto 30-09-2013.

2.0 The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to grant rebate- in freight beyond30.09.2013 for a further period of one year l.e, from 01.10.2013 to 30.09.2014 as under:

6.0 This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

Sub: Policy Guidelines-Transportation Products-For Cement Traffic.Ref: Board's Rates Circular No.62 of 2009 and Corrigenda thereto

{CCM/ECoR's Commercial Circular No.177(G)/09 and Corrigendumthereto).

1. In terms of Corrigendum NO.3? to Pates Circular NO.62 of 2009 {CCM/ECoR'sCommercial Circular No.?6(G)/2013}, guidelines for Transportation Products for CementTraffic have been notified with effective from 2'1.06.2013 to 30.09.2013.

2. The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to extend the validity of afore-mentioned instructions for a further period of one moth i.e. up to 31st October 2013.

3. All other details of Corrigendum NO.3? to Rates Circular NO.62 opf 2009 will remainunchanged.

4. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with theconcurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

All concerned to note and act accordingly.
