Hold firmly while carrying. Carry with case closed. Keep all four desk legs on

the floor at all times. When you hear me say,

“Flip Your Screen,” flip your iPad screen for me to see your work.

Gum, candy and drinks are hazardous to the health of your iPad!

I will give a 5-4-3-2-1 count down after I say, “Close covers.” You will receive a redirect if you do not follow directions.

WHAT IF--

--I’m late to class?Bring a note explaining why you are late.--I have to go to the bathroom? Try to wait until bathroom break. If you can’t, please signal for

bathroom by pointing to the door. You do not have to inform the class about your big event. I’ll try to find someone to take you, but you may have to be patient.

--I need a drink of water? If you need a drink, point to the water fountain in the room. If I

nod, go ahead. If I shake my head, wait until I nod.

WHAT IF (CONT.)

What if I am absent and need to make up work? According to the school policy, “the number of

days allowed to complete make-up work will be equal to the number of school days the student was absent plus one additional day.”

I will work with you at Wrap-up (when possible) to help you make up your work. You may have to complete it at home.
