that time to choose our future profession has come. It's not easy to make the right choise of a job. Leaving school is beginning of our independant life. We have asked yourself a lot of times:’’What do I want to be when I leave school?’’

It's difficult to make up our mind and choose one of the hundreds jobs which we might be better suited.The problem of choosing the future profession has always been very important.The profession a person chooses in many ways determines his future life.This is a universal problem of our epoch.

WaiterAs Sochi is a resort town and there are

a lot of restaurants here. So the profession of a waiter is very popular. A good waiter has to be friendly and patient. He loves socializing and never gets angry. He likes to communicate with people. He must be very polite. Waiters can be men and women. But they are only men in exclusive and expensive restaurants. Usual tips are 10% of the bill. But it depends on the service.

DoctorPeople often come to Sochi to restore

their health as our town is balneological resort. There are a lot of sanatoria here. So the profession of a doctor is also widely spread. It goes without saying that a good doctor must be patient, caring and kind. It’s not easy job though, as doctors have to be hardworking and careful. They often work very long hours and they can’t make mistakes. This job is very respected.

There are a lot of taxi-drivers in Sochi. Taxi service is widely-spread here. As Sochi consists of four administrative sectors each of them has its own taxi service. Taxi-drivers usually wear uniforms. They are well-trained and are not allowed to smoke, to take more than four passengers and they should be respectful. There’s no difficulty for them to find the place you need.

Everybody wants to look beautiful and attractive. Hairdresser and barbers help people to b stylish, to look glamorous and to feel confident. People who want to have their hair cut, done or dyed and their nails made can go to the nearest hairdressers or barbers and get all the necessary services. A hairdresser needs a good imagination and has to be well-qualified. This profession is very rewarding as people see the results of the work right away.

PolicemanA policeman is one of the widely-spread

profession in Russia today. Being a policeman one should possess a great courage, physical strength, sensibility and will. The job requires special training. Perspective policeman are carefully selected. The actual training includes: learning to shoot, to drive at high speed in minimum space. A policeman must be good psychologists, as they work with people who are in trouble or at a loss. Although this profession is tiring it’s very satisfying.

Shop-assistant Every day we all go to the shops

and get qualified help from shop-assistants. This profession is very popular and attractive for those who are sociable and responsible. Shop-assistants are communicative and customer-oriented. There is a variety of shops, so the specialists in different spheres are needed. And if a person likes his job he will be successful.

Here are the results- 1. 2% - don’t think about their future profession;- 98% - think about their future profession;- 2. 68% - have made their choice;- 32% - haven’t made their choice;- 3. 73% - says that interest influenced of their choice; - 34% - says that friends `advice influenced their choice;- 23% - says that the profession of their parents

influenced;- 4. 15% - says that the interest of the work is more

important;- 5% - says that well-paid work is more important;- 20% - says that social privileges are more important.
