Enough Series ContinuesBy Rev. Chris Shorow, Senior Minister

    Living

    WithPurposeContinuing the Enough series this

week in worship, we will con-

sider living a life of purpose and

meaning. We will look at biblical

    principles of money management

and learn how they apply to our

daily lives. We will review some common pitfalls and cultural

traps and discover how to avoid them.

Andrew Harris has produced another video of some of

our members. This story of finding a renewed sense of purpose

and meaning, despite altered plans, will give us all a chance to

    consider what matters most.

We also will review Six Key Financial Principles, and you

will receive a reminder of them to take home This useful tool,

which is designed for all of us, can be especially helpful in train-

ing youth and young adults as they begin to develop lifelong

habits in personal finance. After worship, we hope you take ex-

tra time in the following days to read those principles and Scrip-

tures. By practicing these principles, all of us can find greater

simplicity, contentment, generosity, and joy for our lives.

This past Sunday was a wonderful worship experience for those of us present. We heard a mov-

ing story told by Terry Earnheart about her life-changing car accident and how that has affected he

outlook on life. We heard and sang inspirational music and we explored the definition of enough.

What is enough in your life?

I once heard the great quarterback and even greater humanitarian, Bart Starr, quote WinstonChurchill. He said, We make a living with what we get. We make a life with what we give away.

I think that he understood the meaning of enough. Our lives are truly blessed by giving rather than

    receiving.

This Sunday we will have another moving story told by a church member and will continue to h

and sing inspirational music. Come and worship, but more importantly, come and hear about God

    bountiful blessings.
