The Richmond Police Department is looking for local sponsors in order to get a mounted patrol set up in Richmond.

The money donated to this cause would provide the Richmond Police Department with adequate and quality equipment including saddles, riding pants, and other safety equipment.

Having a mounted patrol would enhance safety measures in the downtown Richmond area for all of our businesses, and in particular, the Historic Depot District.

For questions or donations, visit the Richmond Police Department between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday or call the police department at (765) 983-7247 and ask for Lt. Donnie Benedict.
