o The attendance was five times greater than the initial goal of 400.o The event is recognized as a key force in integration of Hispanic Students

into the university.o It generated a $15,000 scholarship for Hispanic studentso The event has proven to be self-sustaining, and is now in its 14th year.

Designed, lead, and executed the annual Arkansas State University, College of Business student scholarship fundraiser, The Emerald Gala, in its 3rd and 4th years. Result: It was the first such event to generate a positive financial return ($12,000 each year) for the College of Business.

Created an event designed to empower girls in the Girl Scouts of America, NE Arkansas Council. Result: Secured U.S. Senator, Blanche Lambert Lincoln, to give the keynote address; more than 600 Girl Scouts attended.

Taught at Arkansas State University: Taught Microcomputer Applications course. Result: Converted a course that had

been considered "an easy A" into a course that was recognized by the Dean of the Business School as relevant, and one which strengthened the skills of graduates for employment in the work-force.

o Taught English as a Second Language to students of many different nationalities and backgrounds. I also included more than just language in my instructions: I taught "American culture" as well. Result: Affected the successful acclimatization of students from more than a dozen nations.

Designed and developed many creative publications and PowerPoint presentations; maintained a website; and used social media in my different positions. Result: My managers and teams always leaned on me as the "communications" person. I also used these tools in my successful business.
