Our in-house specialist skills, our team’scombined experience and knowledge and our versatile range of modern plant and equipment allows greater flexibility, adaptability and capacity to manage both planned andunplanned construction challenges.

Our Head Office is based in Eastern Sydney with a resourcing capability to mobilise fromthe Sydney Basin, throughout NSW andInterstate. We have proven experience indelivering both Private and Governmentfunded projects throughout Australia.

ElectricalTRANSMISSION:Vaughan Civil delivered their first 66kV Transmission project in 2012 & have since worked on several high profile transmission projects throughout NSW, Queensland & the Northern Territory.

DISTRIBUTION:Vaughan Civil has delivered distribution solutions for Ausgrid, Endeavour & Essential Energy for nearly a decade now. Our specialised civil, cable hauling, overhead & cable jointing crews make thesedistribution projects run smoothly.

SUBSTATIONS:Vaughan Civil is qualified to work within livesubstations. We also have the ability to install Kiosks and construct new build substations using in-house Civil, Concrete & Electrical crews.


GasTRANSMISSION:Vaughan Civil constructed our first Primary High Pressure Steel Gas Main in Western Sydney in 2011. Since then, Vaughan Civil has continued to deliver similar projects developing strong relationships with the utility owners.

DISTRIBUTION(SECONDARY MAINS):Vaughan Civil has installed thousands of metresof secondary gas mains using open cut trenchingand trenchless technologies. Our in-house civil & mechanical crews are experts in delivering complex projects to achieve superior outcomes for our clients and end users.

COMPRESSIONREDUCING STATIONS:In 2015 Vaughan Civil was awarded the upgrade contract for 3 critical pressure reducing stations (P.R.S) in Sydney NSW. These extremely complex projects were hailed a success by the end client.

DOMESTIC(LOW PRESSURE):Vaughan Civil teams are qualified & experienced in building low pressure gas service mains in both nylon & HDPE. We have completed hundreds of property gas connections over the last 8 years.


WaterPOTABLE /RECYCLEDWATER:From Dn750mm steel trunk mains to Dn32mmservices, Vaughan Civil has constructed hundreds of water mains since 2011 for a number of water networks across Australia.

WASTE WATER/SEWER:Vaughan Civil provides an end to end solutionfor waste water management and pipelineconstruction. We have proven experience inthe design and construction of gravity, rising,reticulation and low pressure sewer mains.

SEWER PUMP STATIONS:Vaughan Civil construct and refurbish sewer pump stations and have a growing list of successful jobs particularly in Queensland and New South Wales.

PIPELINE REHABILITATION:Between 2011 & 2015, Vaughan Civil worked for Sydney Water under ITS Pipetech to providepipeline rehabilitation through trenchlessmethodology, including pipe bursting, slip lining, swage lining and a range of CIP pipe lining options.


TransportRAIL:Vaughan Civil has successfully delivered various packages on light and heavy rail construction projects including utility locating, utility relocation, combined services route, bulk earthworks, trackpower supply, track slab construction and railway stops. Vaughan Civil has a proven ability to manage complex projects which directly interface with therail corridor.

ROAD:Vaughan Civil is a prequalified RMS R2 contractor with an assessed financial capacity to constructroads & associated infrastructure on projects upto the value of $15m.

DRAINAGE:Vaughan Civil specialise in Storm Water drainage construction, we have experienced cast in-situ pit crews for construction of concrete pits, open drains, catchment basins and headwalls.

BULK EARTHWORKS:Vaughan Civil’s hire department has GPS ready excavators up to 45 T in size. These bulk earthwork crews complement our drainage & pavementconstruction crews on road & rail projects.


TelecommunicationsMAINS SUPPLY:Telstra & Optus are among our majortelecommunications clients and together wehave successfully rolled out and commissionedseveral fibre optic relocations and new construct packages. Our organisation also assisted variousTier 1 managing contractors with the roll-out ofthe N.B.N.

LOCAL SUPPLY:Vaughan Civil utilise our expert knowledge intrenchless operations to deliver an innovativesolution for complex local telecommunications supply. Our expert technologies such as horizontal directional drilling and pipe insertion has provento be a cost effective solution for our clients.

RemediationCONTAMINATEDGROUND TREATMENT:Vaughan Civil has proven experience andunderstanding of EPA legislation and therequired treatment of contaminated groundconditions. Our systems have been developedto effectively manage contaminated ground conditions, such as but not limited to; acidsulphate soils, asbestos, lead and benzene.We have worked and continue to work onvarious high profile remediation projects inSydney CBD and NSW.

Our management & supervision team’s ability cross over numerous academic and technical disciplines. These include Project Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Plumbing, and Surveying. Our diversity is a strength which allows us to have the right person on the job, for every job.

Our team on the ground are highly skilled &we have a diverse range of positions in our organisation including: Site Supervisors, Leading Hands, Excavator Operators, Vacuum Excavator Operators, Pipe layers, Carpenters, Formwork Carpenters, Steel Fixers, Concreters, PipeWelders, Plumbers, Electricians, Truck Driversand Skilled Labourers.

Training & Development

Vaughan Civil have a large fleet of in-houseplant and equipment at our disposal.Systematic proactive servicing ensures thatall of our vehicles, plant and equipment are scheduled and maintained at regular intervals. Vaughan Civil also ensure that our employees, subcontractors and suppliers are compliantwith the Heavy Vehicle National Law andChain of Responsibility.

Vaughan Civil partner with HR Central tomaintain a secure online induction database for all of our employees and subcontractors. Each direct and indirect employee workingfor Vaughan Civil has their own profile torecord their qualifications, licences, VOC’s, SOA’s and inductions.

A TAILORED APPROACH

To maximise our compliance the systemauto-generates renewal notifications for licences and qualifications for each individual employee. This platform also allows theindividual 24/7 access to their qualifications, our organisations policies, procedures, forms and other documents.

Vaughan Civil employees are trained invarious WH&S courses including but notlimited to White Card Induction, ManualHandling, Chain of Responsibility, Drugs& Alcohol Awareness, Traffic Management Control, Confined Space, AsbestosAwareness, Working Near a Live Electrical Apparatus, Senior First Aid and Environmental Awareness. Our team also possess specificWater, Gas, Electrical, Telecommunications,Rail and Road qualifications.

All of our drivers and operators are assessedby registered training organisations andpossess a statement of attainment and/or verification of competency of any plant orvehicle which they are required to operate.


WH&S QUALITY& ENVIRONMENTVaughan Civil operate under a certified integrated management system which is annuallyaudited by an external party. Our integrated management system provides a platform toensure thart Vaughan Civil meets all the relevant safety requirements whilst identifying areas for improvement. This is carried out across all of our projects to ensure compliance in line with legislation, standards and codes of practice.

WH&SThe safety of the general public coupled withthe safety of our employees and their health and well-being is our Number 1 priority. Vaughan Civil operate an internal online inductionprocess for all of our workers to ensure thatall employees understand our policies and procedures. This is further supported by induction into project specific plans, safe work method statements and task specific requirements.We also equip our employees with all of thenecessary Personal Protection Equipment.


Key PerformanceIndicatorsVaughan Civil’s integrated management system monitors and controls our outputs through the use of internal and external audits, daily inspections, observations, inspection test plans, customer surveys. We also recognise the need for continuous improvement and our system is designed to report and manage non-conformances to rectify any issues and offer a “lessons learned” feature for overall refinement.

EnvironmentVaughan Civil’s integrated management system ensures our compliance with the relevant Environment Protection Authority, (and act in line with the jurisdiction ofthe project).
