cathedral of creation. Hills, wildflowers, trees, birds,
butterflies, blue skies and clouds form the compelling
worship space for this new ministry. They have been
given a trailer to store equipment and supplies and have
built benches and tables but they urgently need a 40' x
40' tent along with other related items for their
exciting mission endeavor.
Ten Christ Lutheran youth and adult leaders will leave
for Jacksonville, Florida on July 19 and return on July
27. Their time will be spent in service and fellowship
with various nonprofit organizations that work with
children, the elderly as well as provide healthcare for
everyone. The team is spending the next few months
building up their trust in each other, their knowledge of
the community, and strengthening their faith. They
appreciate the support of this special offering and ask
for your prayers as well.

Stephen Ministry
"Serving God by Bringing Christ's Healing Love
to Hurting People"
An important theme of the Lenten season is the humanity
of Christ. In Jesus, God became human and fully
experienced the wide range of emotions we all encounter
in life. Jesus experienced times of loneliness, sadness,
hurt, anger, disappointment, grief, and abandonment.
That is part of being human. Another part of being
human is needing help from each other. God never
intended us to be completely self-sufficient. Part of
God's plan is for each of us to turn to others for help
when we need it.
So when you are experiencing difficult times, don't
struggle alone. Our Stephen Ministers will walk with
you, listen to you, encourage you, pray with you, and
grace as the people of Godwhere the presence of Christis in, with, and under thebread and wine of HolyCommunion. This year theAgape Feast is onThursday, April 17 at6:30pm. There is a sign upsheet in the Narthex on the"Welcome Center".

Narthex for Easter Lilies.
They are $8.00 each. (Please

for each Easter lily if you
want more than one. Make
