Film with prisoners andpolice as castHindi short film Shuddi – A NewBeginning directed by SanjeevSharma has a cast of police officersand prisoners serving life term ofthe Central Jail of Jaipur, Rajasthanin October 2014. The 5-min blackand white film written and directedby Sanjeev was based on MahatmaGandhi’s life during his prison stay.The film was shot during a five-day film workshop from Oct 13-17, 2014, conducted for theprisoners of Jaipur jail and wasscreened there on the last day.
