CALL TO WORSHIP Leah Grundset Davis

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God,and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

    And also with you.

Bless the Lord. Let all that is within us bless God's holy name.We will bless the Lord and remember God's acts of goodness.

The Lord does not deal with us according to our sins.God forgives all our iniquities and heals our diseases.

The Lord keeps us from the graveand crowns us with love and mercy.

The Lord satisfies us with good as long as we live.As a father has compassion for his children,so the Lord has compassion for those who honor him.

As the heavens are high above the earth,

so great is God's love toward those

    who have reverence for him.

Let us worship God! From Psalm 103INVOCATION Leah Grundset Davis

REFLECTION ON PSALM 90 God Everlasting, at Your WordBROTHERJAMESAIR

    1. God everlasting, at your word the hills in splendor rise;they overshadow human life whose glory swiftly dies.Pour out the fullness of your grace and we like them arise.

    2. Our days like dreams come to an end, our story soon is told, when strength is spent, and beauty fades, and bodies have grown old.Pour out the fullness of your grace and we your face behold.

    3. Teach us, O Lord, to count our days, to cherish every hour,to seek your will, to do your work, and trust your mighty power.Pour out the fullness of your grace and rain on us like showers.

NUMBER YOUR DAYS. Today we continue our Lenten series, re-examining the ways we practice piety. Perhaps the word pioushas a negative connotation because so many have practiced theirpiety in ways Jesus warned against: stewardship for show, prayer forpublic praise, fasting for face value. What if we tried to live out alifetime storing up real treasures? Psalm 90 is our guide, and in eachGospel passage this Lent, time is reiterated in a word or phrase. How do we number our days so that we may gain hearts of wisdom?
