• Meet up to 3 times per year• National meetings• Often attended by government and key stakeholders• Lead voice on sector relevant issues making them recognised
lobbying and consultation groups• Opportunity for better cross sector communications through joint
meetings
Regional Support Teams – The Concept
• Each group will have a dedicated team comprising the Chair of the Group, a Council member, a Staff Member and a Development Manager
• The team will confer with each other over how the
agenda will work, monitor the attendance and be present at meetings to meet, greet, answer queries and receive feedback from members.

Regional Support Teams – Benefits
• Supports the Chair and group Officers • Members attending the region have the consistency of
known BPA representatives at the meeting and in between
• Enables the Council member to be more accountable for members views across the country.
• This team approach also assists the DMs as they move into their roles as regional BPA ambassadors.
Timetable for Implementation
• Spring/Summer 2011 Support Team Members to attend meetings
• Full implementation of regional support by Autumn 2011
