Birthday Book Club

When it is your child’s birthday, they have the opportunity to donate a book of their choice (already purchased by the library) for the small cost of $6.00. After paying, the children can come to the library and select a birthday book.

The books will be presented to the children on assembly. Each book will have a special message inside saying who has donated the book. The birthday child will be the first to borrow the book. Two students are joining the birthday book club this week. Welcome Chloe and Mats.

Girls’ Basketball

Well done to our girls' basketball team who played in a knockout gala day. The girls had a nail biting first game against Tenambit, winning 10-9 in extra time. Next we had a win against Thornton and were defeated in the third game by Ashtonfield. All girls demonstrated out-standing sportsmanship and effort, especially seeing as though most of them had never played basketball before!

P & C NEWS

A fantastic performance from our Stage 3 dance group at the Hunter Dance Festival on Monday night. An outstanding commitment and dedication from all to learn the routine and turn up to rehearsals. Congratulations girls! Miss Harris Lipstick, eyeshadow and of course, HAIRSPRAY!!! Tuesday night was an incredible night for the Stage 2 Dancers. After many morning and lunchtime rehearsals, it was finally our time to shine. With our bright and colourful costumes and boppy music, our dancers performed a routine based on the musical Hairspray. Well done to all the boys and girls who represented our Bolwarra spirit beautifully. We are immensely proud of you! Miss Devin and Mrs Turner

If you have any queries regarding this process please phone Flexischools directly on 1300 361 769.

It is a legal requirement for all volunteers to fill and sign the Working with Children Check Form. It is also a requirement to provide 100 point identification to accompany this form. Please attend the office to complete this form. If you need any more information please phone Melani or ask in the office. ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOL

Regular attendance at school is important for students to be able to reach their potential. The school is required to record the reason for any absences. Students are only to be absent when they are sick or have another good reason for missing school. If your child is sick you can notify us via the Skoolbag App, telephone us, or send a note in when your child returns to school.

You can download the App on Apple or Android devices– simply visit your Apple Store or Google Play Store and search for “Bolwarra Skoolbag”.
