Christjon J. Huddleston, MD Dr. Christjon J. Huddleston is the senior partner of

Huddleston & DiNardo, MD, PA and the Medical Director

at UMES. His private Internal Medicine

practice, founded in 1986, is located at

Suite 103, 106 Milford St. in Salisbury.

A native of Silver Spring, MD,

Dr. Huddleston earned his medical

degree at the University of Maryland

School of Medicine in Baltimore. He

completed his residency at Union

Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and

worked at Bon Secour Hospital there. He moved to the

Shore in 1983 to work at McCready Hospital in Crisfield.

Dr. Huddleston is a member of the staff at Penin-

sula Regional Medical Center and a member of the Board of

Trustees there. He is a past president of the Wicomico

Medical Society.

Elton P. Maddox, Jr., DDS Dr. Elton Maddox is a Dentist in Salisbury, MD

who has had his family dentistry prac-

tice since 1977. His office recently

moved to 302 Kay Ave., Fruitland.

A native of Somerset County

where his parents still reside, Dr. Mad-

dox became the first African American

to head the Eastern Shore Dental Socie-

ty in 1992. He earned his DDS Degree

from the University of Maryland Dental

School in Baltimore.

Sharon A. McFayden-Eyo, MD Dr. Sharon McFayden-Eyo is a

pediatrician who joined Dr. William A.

Strott at the PRMC Primary Care Net-

work Pediatrics office in Salisbury in

1997. They opened the private practice

of McFayden-Eyo & Strott, PA in 2003

and are located at Suite 102, 1205 Pem-

berton Drive in Salisbury.

Dr. McFayden-Eyo moved to

the Shore from Syracuse, NY where she earned her medical

degree from the State Univ. of New York Health Science

Center and did her residency in their Department of Pediat-

rics.

Justinian R. Ngaiza, MD, MSc, PhD Dr. Justinian R. Ngaiza is a specialist in Medical

Oncology and Hematology with Peninsula Regional Oncol-

ogy & Hematology at PRMC and in

Berlin. Dr. Ngaize received his medi-

cal education at the University of Dar-

Es-Salaam in Tanzania and London

School of Hygiene & Tropical Medi-

Emmanuel N. Nsah, MD Dr. Emmnuel N. Nsah is an associate at Peninsula

Cardiology Associates, PA who specializes in Electro-

physiology and Cardiovascular Dis-

ease. He moved to the Shore to join

the Association in 1998. Its offices are

located in Salisbury and Berlin.

A native of Cameroon, Dr. Nsah

earned his medical degree from Uni-

versity Center for Health Science in

Cameroon and interned there. He came

to the US in 1987 and researched in

Cardiovascular Pathology at Johns Hopkins University.

After that, he completed residences at New York Univer-

sity Medical College in NY City and St. Agnes Hospital in

Baltimore. Then he returned to Johns Hopkins University.

Lisa D. Patrick, DDS Dr. Lisa D. Patrick is a dentist whose prac-

tice is Affordable Dentures located at 601 East Naylor Mill

Rd., Suite E, in Mill Pond Village Pla-

za, Salisbury, MD. She started as an

associate there in 2005 and bought it in

2007. She received her BS Degree at

Howard University and earned her

Dentistry Doctorate at the university’s

College of Dentistry.

A native of Lynchburg, VA,

Dr. Patrick resides in Clinton, MD.

Mosha M. Peters-Harris, MD Dr. Mosha Peters-Harris is on the staff of PRMC as

a hospitalist with Peninsula Regional

Hospitalist Service. She is Board certi-

fied in Internal Medicine and a gradu-

ate of the University of Alabama Med-

ical School. She completed her intern-

ship and residency at University of

South Alabama Health Systems in Mo-

bile, Alabama.

Mosha is the wife of Dr.

Courtney Harris who also joined PRMC over a year ago.

Andy H. Pierre, MD Dr. Andy H. Pierre is a Neurosurgeon who

joined Dr. Julius Zant at Peninsula Neurosurgical Associ-

ates, PA in Salisbury in 2001. The firm

became a part of Peninsula Regional

Health Systems in 2010.

Dr. Pierre is from upstate

New York and received his medical

degree from the University of Rochester

School of Medicine and Dentistry. He

completed his internship and residency

at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

Dolores Rhymer-Anderson, MD Dr. Dolores Rhymer-Anderson MD, FACOG,

MBA recently joined Atlantic General Health System’s

Ocean Pines Primary Care and Wom-

en’s Health practice. She has 24 years

experience as a gynecologist.

Dr. Rhymer-Anderson re-

ceived her BS Degree in biology at

Colgate U. and earned her medical de-

gree from the State University of New

York Health Science Center at

Syracuse. She earned a MBA in the

Physician Executive MBA Program at

Kennesaw State U. in Georgia. She completed an internship

and residency at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center of

Jimmy D. Taylor, MD Dr. Jimmy D. Taylor is a hematology and medical

oncology specialist who is in the Division of Hematology

and Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at

Peninsula Regional Medical Center in

Salisbury last year. He received his

medical degree from the Howard Uni-

versity School of Medicine in Wash-

ington, DC.

sity of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, AL and his resi-

dency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. He

Nicholas A. Woodford, MD Dr. Nicholas A. Woodford is an Anesthesiologist

who recently joined the staff at Peninsula Regional Medi-

cal Center in Salisbury. He earned his

Maryland School of Medicine, com-

of Maryland Medical Center, and his

residency at Loyola University Medi-

cal Center. He also completed a fel-

Julius D. Zant, MD Dr. Julius D. Zant is a Neurosurgeon at Peninsula

Neurosurgery of Peninsula Regional Medical Group. The

office is located at 540 Snow Hill Rd. in Salisbury. He

also is a part of Peninsula Regional Medical Center’s

Neurosurgery Division and has been

president of the PRMC medical staff.

Dr. Zant moved to Salisbury

in 1989 to head the Division of Neu-

rosurgery at PRMC. He is Board

Certified in California, New York,

and Maryland.

A native of Pasadena, Mary-

land, Dr. Zant earned his medical

degree from the University of MD School of Medicine in

Baltimore where he did his internship. He has also prac-

ticed in Syracuse and Los Angeles.

Felix D. Barnett, MD Dr. Felix Barnett is an Anesthesiologist at Chester

Dennis M. DeShields, MD Dr. Dennis DeShields is a Hos-

Christiana Care Health System. He is

Valerie Ellen Goodman, DO Dr. Valerie E. Goodman is a

physician at Shore Family Practice in

A native of Nigeria, Dr. Osunkoya graduated from

Austin C. Tagbo, MD

Last year Dr. Austin Tagbo joined Shore Hospital-

ists Associates and the staff of Shore Health at Easton Me-

morial Hospital where he is a Hospitalists and practices

internal medicine. He comes to Shore Health from Mid

Coast Health Services in Brunswick,

Maine where he was also a Hospitalists.

Prior to that, he was Hospitalists at

William W. Backus Hospital in Nor-

wich, CT and Williamsburg Communi-

ty Hospital in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Dr. Tagbo is a graduate of the

University of Lagos, College of Medi-

cine in Lagos, Nigeria who completed

his residency at the University of Connecticut School of

Medicine in Internal Medicine. He is certified by the Amer-

ican Board of Internal Medicine. He is married to Dr.

Ijeoma Tagbo, who opened her dental practice in Easton

then went on to complete an advanced fellowship program

at Temple University before settling into practice, initially

in Maine. Dr. Tagbo is a member of several prestigious

organizations, and was most recently awarded a Fellowship

in the Academy of General Dentistry at its July 2010 Con-

vocation in New Orleans.

Married to Dr. Austin Tagbo, the couple has two

children and live in Easton.

Sheena Ames, PA Sheena Ames is a Physician

Assistant who is a part of the Dr. Alon

Davis Family Practice in Salisbury.

She graduated from the University of

Maryland Eastern Shore in December

2010, then got her Board Certification.

She is a native of Crisfield, MD.

Olutoyin A. Adedapo, RP Registered Pharmacist Olutoyin A. Adedapo owns

and operates DAPO Pharmacy, Inc. of

Cambridge. He founded the 300 Wash-

ington St. drug store in 1995.

A native of Nigeria, Adedapo

moved to the US in 1983. He studied at

Southeastern University and graduated

from the Howard University School of

Pharmacy; both in Washington, D.C.

He and his wife, Josephine, have five

children. She works with him at the

Pharmacy.

Edward M. Asare, RP Registered Pharmacist Edward M. Asare owns and

operates Bi-State Pharmacy, Inc. of

Delmar, DE. He founded the 5 East

State St. drug store in 2006. Prior to

that, he had been a pharmacist for sev-

eral years at Eckerd Drug Stores in

Rehoboth, DE and Salisbury.

A native of Ghana, Asare

moved to the US 25 years ago. He

graduated from the Rutgers University

College of Pharmacy. A resident of

Delmar, MD, Asare and his wife, have four children.

Glenwood C. Brooks, Jr., Ph.D.

Dr. Glenwood C. Brooks, Jr.

is a Neuropsychologist at HealthSouth

Chesapeake Rehabilitation Hospital in

Salisbury. He has practiced there and

at Peninsula Regional Medical Center

since 1994. His specialty is Adjust-

ments to Health Problems. He has

his own private practice and privileg-

es at PRMC, Deer’s Head Center, and

Genesis Eldercare Rehabilitation Services in Salisbury and

Taylor Manor in Ellicott City, MD.

Born in Philadelphia, Dr. Brooks graduated from

Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and earned his PhD

from the University of Maryland, College Park. He has a

post doctorate fellowship in Neuropsychology and holds

certificates in psycho-pharmacology, hypnotherapy, and

pain management. He is a member of the American Board

of Forensic Examiners.

Dr. Brooks has worked at the University of Mary-

land, Maryland State Board of Higher Education, and Mor-

gan State University.

Raymond L. Blakely, PhD-PT Dr. Raymond Blakely is a professor and the

chair of the UMES Department of Physical Therapy in the

School of Health & Professions. The

Department was established under

his directorship in 1981. It has grown

under his leadership to become ac-

credited and include a doctoral pro-

gram. Dr. Blakely has 27 years of

Physical Therapy Program admin-

istration experience, 40 years of ex-

perience in clinical practice, and 34

years of teaching experience. He is active in professional

organizations involving allied health and rural health. He

has published several articles.

Zoology, Dr. Blakely earned his M.Ed. Degree in Educa-

tional Guidance & Counseling at Xavier U, his MA Degree

in Physical Therapy at NYU, and his PhD Degree in Physi-

cal Therapy (Pathokinesiology/Biomechanics and Safety)

at New York University.

Tovonnia Dale Collins, PharmD Dr. Tovonnia Dale is a hospi-

Sharone Grant, RN Sharone V. Grant is a Regis-

tered Nurse and she has been Director

of Student Health Services at the

University of Maryland Eastern Shore

for the last 19 years. She has practiced

nursing at SHORE UP!, Deer’s Head

Center, and Wor-Wic Community

College.

A native of Onancock, VA,

Mrs. Grant earned her nursing degree from Howard Univer-

sity and her Masters Degree in Nursing from Salisbury Uni-

versity. She is a past president of the MD College Health

Nurses Association and a member of Sigma Theta Tau

Honor Society.

Darlene Jackson-Bowen, MPAS, PA-C Mrs. Darlene Jackson-Bowen is Chair of the Physi-

cian Assistant Program at UMES and a

Assistant Professor. She is a graduate

of Howard U., where she earned a cer-

tificate in Primary Care Medicine and

a BS Degree in the Physician Assistant

Program of the College of Allied

Health Sciences. She also earned a MS

Degree in Family Medicine in the

Department of Physician Assistant

Studies at the U. of Nebraska and

graduated with a PhD in the UMES Organizational Leader-

ship PhD Program this spring.

Donnie LaRue, Pharmacy Tech Donnie LaRue is the Pharmacy Support Services

Supervisor at Peninsula Regional

Medical Center in Salisbury where he

has over 30 years of service and was

the 2002 Employee of the Year. He

worked his way up from Pharmacy

Tech I through Tech II and Purchas-

ing Coordinator. He is also the past

president of the Board of Directors of

TLC, Inc. and a member of Omega

Psi Phi Fraternity.

A native of St. Mary’s City, MD, LaRue graduated

from high school in Lexington Park, MD. He attended Bow-

ie State Teachers College (now Bowie State U.) before join-

ing the US military. He has studied further at the Univer-

sity of Maryland College Park.

Denise Marshall, RN Denise Marshall is a Regis-

tered Nurse and the Head of the

Nursing Dept. at Wor-Wic Commu-

nity College in Salisbury since 1993.

She has taught there since 1984.

A native of Salisbury, Mar-

shall earned her BS in Nursing from

Hampton U., a Masters of Education

from Salisbury U., and a Doctorate of

Education Degree from Wilmington

University.

LaTonya P. Martin, PT LaTonya P. Martin is a

Physical Therapist and the co-owner

of Martin Physical Therapy, Inc. in Salisbury. She and her husband start-

ed the company in 2006.

Latonya earned her BS Degree in

Physical Therapy from the Universi-

ty of Maryland Eastern Shore

(UMES).

Stephen E. Martin, PT OCS Stephen E. Martin is a Phys-

ical Therapist and the co-owner of

Martin Physical Therapy, Inc. in

Salisbury. He and his wife started

the company in 2006. He is a certi-

fied Orthopaedic Specialist.

A native of Allen, MD,

Martin is a graduate of Parkside High

School and earned his BS Degree in

Physical Therapy from UMES.

James McGinnis James McGinnis has served as the

Director of Pharmacy for Atlantic

General Hospital since 2008. He has

extensive pharmacy experience, hav-

ing practiced at Lovelace HealthCare

Systems in Albuquerque, NM, and

Methodist Hospital Systems in Mer-

rillville and Gary, IN, prior to joining

AGH. James is a graduate of Texas Southern University

School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Juanita Milbourne, LPT CDP/MLD Juanita Milbourne is a Physical Therapist with

Aquacare Rehabilitation Services, Inc. in Salisbury. She

has been with the company since it

started in 1997 and is now clinical

director of its Hand & Lymphedema

Therapy Center at 314 W. Carroll St.

in Salisbury. She is certified in Strain

and Counterstrain Treatment and in

Lymphedema Treatment including

Comprehensive Decongestive Physio-

therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drain-

age. She has practiced physical therapy on Delmarva for

over 20 years emphasizing a caring and hands-on approach.

A native of Snow Hill, MD, Ms. Milbourne earned

her BS Degree in Physical Education and Health from Mor-

gan State University and her BS Degree in Physical Thera-

py from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She has

practiced at HealthSouth Chesapeake Rehabilitation Hospi-

tal and taught at UMES.

Ronald E. Morse, PhD, LCPC Dr. Ronald E. Morse is a National Certified Mental

Health Therapist licensed in the State of Maryland as a Clin-

ical Professional Psychotherapist. He

specializes in the treatment of depres-

sion and suicidology and does mental

health consultation through his pri-

vate practice Psych Gyms.

Dr. Morse was born in

Tuskegee AL and grew up in Salis-

bury, graduating from Parkside High

School. He earned his BS Degree

from Tuskegee U., his Masters De-

gree in Guidance and Counseling at UMES, and his PhD in

Counselor Education and Supervision from the University

of Virginia. He has taught and counseled at the University

of Virginia, Bowie State U. and UMES. He is currently the

residential mental health therapist at Tender Care, Inc. and

the assistant publisher of African American Pride Magazine.

Joyce Parsons, RN Joyce Parsons is the current

Director of Nursing at Hudson Health

Services rehabilitation center in Salis-

bury. She has 28 years of nursing

experience and a passion for helping

those struggling with addiction.

A lifelong resident of Salis-

bury, Joyce received her BS Degree in

Accounting from Salisbury University

and her nursing degree from Wor-Wic

Community College. She is a certified

chemical dependency nurse.

Brian E. Townsend Brian E. Townsend is president and co-owner of

Delmarva’s Home Care Solution based at 1201 pemberton

Dr. in Salisbury with an office in

Cambridge. The firm provides Certi-

fied Nursing and Geriatric Assistants,

light house-keeping, meal prepara-

tions, errands, and one-on-one

homecare for the hospitalized and

home-bound. A Maryland native,

Townsend is trained in business ad-

ministration and public relations. He

has been a member of the Holly Com-

munity board of directors.

Anne Watson-Waples, RN Anne Watson-Waples, RN, works as a charge nurse

in the Intensive Care and Progressive Care Units at Atlantic

General Hospital. She is also a foren-

sic nurse examiner through the SAFE

program for sexual assault victims

who come to AGH for care. The Bar-

lin, MD resident is a Wilmington, DE

native who grew up in Snow Hill. She

graduated from Snow Hill High

School and earned her diploma in

nursing from Maryland General

School of Nursing. She also attended

Towson University for general studies.

Altrenia Wright Altrenia Wright rejoined

Atlantic General Hospital in 2011 as

the director of outpatient services. She

was the hospital laboratory’s first

night technician in June 1993 before

leaving in 1999 to advance her career.
