WHAT IS A TEAMSUPERVISOR?#GOLDSHIRTSWAG
The Team Supervisor position is a mid-level, volunteer leadership role that supports the mission and vision of Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) Orientation Programs, the Student Success Programs department, and Purdue University. Team Supervisors work to create an inclusive environment that enhances the growth and development of BGR Team Leaders. All Team Supervisors are responsible for actively participating in Team Supervisor and Team Leader trainings, events, and programs throughout the academic year as well as for providing on-site logistical and operational support during the week of Boiler Gold Rush and Boiler Gold Rush International.
SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTSI LOVE IT WHEN YOU WEAR THAT GOLD SHIRT
• Must be a Full-Time Student
• Must maintain a 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher
• Must be in good Academic and Disciplinary Standing
• Cannot be a Resident Assistant, Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader, or a member of Gamma Chi, Marching Band, Glee Club or Purduettes
SUPERVISOR COMMITMENTI LOVE IT WHEN YOU WEAR THAT GOLD SHIRT
Fall:
• TS Retreat: November 16th – 17th
• Team Supervisor Training #1: November 27th
• Fun socials (YAY!!)
Spring:
• Attend one office hour every week on Krach 4th Floor
• Attend all TS trainings and all TL trainings
• Attend GS 210 class
• Fun socials (YAY!!)
GS 210: LEADERSHIP SEMINARHOW DO I BECOME A LEADER?
• One credit hour course
• Meets weekly
• Builds leadership skills
• Allows Supervisors to form new relationships outside of your Hall Team
• Material covered in class will complement Supervisor trainings

• Assist with implementation of BGRi
• Attend BGRi trainings
• Help organize and implement BGRi trainings with TLis

• Assist with BGR Move-in processes
• Work with Residence Hall staff
• Attend University Residences related meetings
• Create a welcoming experience for new students, families, and guests

After you log in to your account you will see a list of available interview times
on the site's landing page. All interviews will be preferenced on a first come,
first served basis. Please note that not all applicants will receive an
interview. Unless notified otherwise via email, be sure to arrive to HAMP
2101 fifteen minutes before the time you selected to check in for your
interview. All candidates should wear their BGR Team Leader T-shirt, khaki
pants/shorts (or other slacks) and closed-toe shoes. You may be required to
sit on the floor and move around, so please do not wear skirts or sandals.
If any conflicts arise and you are unable to attend your selected interview for
any reason, please select another available time on the erezlife landing
page. If there are no times that work with your availability, contact
[email protected] at least 24 hours before the start of your interview, or
your application may be withdrawn.
