What motivates you to be a Board Member?
After three years spent as a member of the Board, I have learned as much as, I
hope, I have brought to the Alumni association and the EDHEC community in
general.
Over those three years, entrepreneurship has become huge and is now considered
as a priority for our school and as a symbol of its strength.
By starting EDHEC Business Angels, we also wanted to show that the Alumni were
ready to foster young talents and their innovating initiatives.
I will apply for a new Board Member term to try to increasing this action and to
bring it to a new dimension.

What motivates you to be a Board Member?
Edhec was one of the great times of my life: There I built my career, my friends,
network and my family. It is time for me to pay back, that’s why I wanted to get
involved in Alumni Association. Values of transmission and support are key for me
and they are the basis of my entrepreneurial project. As Edhecs, we should all be
able to count on each others and learn from each other. For that we need an
environment suitable for exchange and that’s what I want to work on by joining the
Association. We should all be able to feel a part of a team, in solidarity towards
success.

I’d like all the graduates to rediscover the school, too. I want to contribute to getting
them involved, to their feeling of belonging, and I’d like to see them genuinely glad
to lend each other a hand.
By emphasising the alumni association as an accessible and effective way of
networking, as well as a tool for continuing education, by relying as much as
possible on the school’s resources (faculty, research, facilities and so on).
By bringing together international graduates and use the international dimension as

Database optimization :
The last three years have allowed me to exchange and share my experiences in
databases with the association.
However, three years are very short for such a major project: the database
evolves year to year with several hundreds of new alumni every year.
What motivates you to be a Board Member?
So many database projects!
Renewal of the « long-lost alumni » contest, creation of process to find lost people,
standardization of data input for a better use of the database in a unified
communication environment, integration of foreign alumni in the process, search of
new data sources to update data : that is enough to fill the next three years, and
even more…

What motivates you to be a Board Member?
To this day, our representative bodies remain very Franco French and let’s face it -
very male dominated… I feel it is critical that we take fully into account the realities
of today’s world in terms of social, ethnic and generational variety. We need to be
more pro-active in promoting true diversity and propose initiatives that would
ensure that our network truly takes into account, and become relevant, to students
coming from China, India or Poland.
We must become a force of progress and proposition to ensure that what the
network has to offer be relevant for non French alumni and/or alumni not residing in
France. In that respect the school is a lot more advanced than we are.

and make sure that any of us transmits systematically and quickly the information.

What motivates you to be a Board Member?
I would like to take an active part in promoting our school great endeavour. This is
not only about giving back what was offered to me during my training, but also I
would like my experience in international big structures to help in this sharing and
bringing.
First, I want to work in reinforcing the training that is taking an ever more important
place in a context of crisis. And it seems to me the EDHEC has both the ability and
the duty to be in front about what is a decisive issue for a growing number of
executives.
I also want to create and develop a specific program for sponsorships, with the
idea of individual and customized coaching for newly graduates and graduates
seeking employment. All of them as a whole deserve the best of the EDHEC
network. The principle is that Alumni respected for their expertise and career will
accompany as volunteers the graduates needing a leg-up into the labour market.

What motivates you to be an Ambassador?
Our motto: One more drink?
One goal: Be the entry point and the fun of the alumni community!
One virtuous circle: Once you start meeting all these people, with all different lives and background, the
only thing in common being that they are EDHEC alumni, you feel the energy of the network, the sum of
passions, initiatives and caring.
Be aware that you can become hooked to this! Inspiring other alumni to volunteer in the network is the best
and sincerest recognition of all!
