BELLA GELATERIA

I worked with James, my client, 3 years ago when he opened his first location at the Pacific Rim. You know you gave your client a good experience when they come back for more. This was a much more ambitious project, where I had to combine a take-out gelateriathat he is famous for with a sit down pizzeria restaurant. This has been the most challenging and satisfying project so far in my career.The old space was a coffee shop and the square footage was limited for the scope of my clients’ vision. We needed to use every square inch of the space to make it work.I had to demolish everything that was there and start from scratch, but I did keep all the sanitary lines where they were in order to help my client save some money. A great percentage of the budget had to be used on the practical appliances such as the gelato lab which had an intricately designed water cooling system & specialty gelato machines & the beautiful handmade pizza oven from Naples.I was involved in this project from the conceptual stage & was also hired as project manager and I have to say I did overcome a lot of challenges along the way.
