Remove door by removing pin using tool 002-0404-1

Remove pin using tool 002-0404-1.

Pull lock out and up to remove / install battery.

Insert tamperproof volume control rocker.

Install tamperproof door, install pin

Remove volume control rocker.

Push lock in to lock battery into place.

Install pin.

Application fof anti-corrosion grease

Pre-assembly

For SP versions only

Grease the housing top at the highlighted locations with

anti corrosion grease.

Grease the housing top at the highlighted locations with anti corrosion grease.

Place the service adhesive (Tesa Tape 3x3mm

021-0477-1) close to rib as indicated.

NOTE: The application of anti corrosion grease is important to keep the Max™ SP & Max™ SPm water resistant.

Install new O-rings on program cover and on sound spout. Insert program cover and volume control rocker into top

shell, insert pin. Install push button.1 2

Insert the electronics into the bottom shell. Mount the top shell on the device,

insert the battery door and ID plate.

Hold the housing together with fingers and insert the pins.

Install earhook.

Check that the holes of the top shell are

positioned concentrically to the microphone

suspension. Install windscreen.
