Association (IPMMA) was founded on 23rd
December, 2001 at New Delhi and was
registered as a trade association to represent
specifically the Indian pharmaceutical
machinery manufacturers. The estimated
business revenue from this sector which
includes processing, packaging, utility equipment and other
ancillary products is around USD 1000 million out of which around
USD 200 million account for exports.
Today IPMMA has enrolled 300+ members and the association has
been recognized by several government, semi-government and
trade councils. It is a great pride for the association that these
members already export their products to 80 different countries
spread across five continents and therefore the association would
put efforts to help other non-exporting members to find business
inroads into those foreign countries.

rising demand for state-of-the-art pharmaceutical packaging
technologies, Indian Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturer's
Association and Koelnmesse YA Trade Fair have taken an
initiative to organize two days technical seminar with the theme
“Packaging innovations in Pharmaceutical Industry” concurrent
to PackEx India 2014.
The aim of the Seminar is to provide a platform to the packaging
technology suppliers to the pharma industry and the packaging
professionals to discuss and debate on changing packaging
